The room was dark, windows covered by heavy drapes and if there was a light switch I couldn't find it. To help my eyes adjust faster I closed them counting to 30, opening I could see the vague pattern of the light. Carefully crossing the room, I ripped the drapes open. OMG!!!! The room was gorgeous, the walls were a royal blue with grey accents. A large bed sat crossways in the corner. The headboard was a bookshelf, filled with tomes I couldn't wait to crack. Across the room from the bed was a living room of sorts, the TV was above a wood burning fireplace. A large couch with two smaller couches flanking it sat in the middle of the area. Three doors other than the door I had entered by, lined the walls. The door to my left opened into the bathroom. An over large soaking tub behind the door with a double vanity straight ahead, across from the tub stood a multi person shower. Neither would replace my pool, thinking of the pool made we wonder how long I had been here. Did they have my funeral yet? It was just another question for the Alpha.

Leaving the bathroom behind, the next door was his closet. It was large and well stocked full of dark clothing. Would a red or sky blue shirt kill him? Maybe some khakis? Exiting that, the last door was opened. This room was even larger than the bathroom; it was a woman's closet. Dresses of various styles and lengths were hanging in rows organized by event, from the looks of things. While my wolf was pissed that some other woman had her clothes in here I was also extremely relieved and happy it wasn't my closet. I didn't do dresses, just the thought gave me the hebejebes.

With the room investigated it was time to find a book and see if the couch was as comfy as it looked. I had never been a fan of couches in the bed room but beggars can't be choosers.

The sun was low when the outside door burst open and a loud, boisterous, woman barraged in. "I'm so sorry Luna. This day has been, exxxxtrem." Her arms are laden with bottles. "Come on let's get this show on the road. I'm Amelia, Red's mate." Rushing into the bathroom she keeps talking but to who is anyone's guess. After a few moments her head emerges, "Well? What are you waiting for?"

"I have no interest in leaving this room unless it's to see Nick." Returning to the book, it had just got to the good part. Suddenly the book was gone, tossed onto the cushion beside me.

"You can read later. Now we must get you ready to meet the pack and for your induction ceremony and the Luna initiation." Pulling me off the couch she gets me no further.

"No."

"What do you mean no?" Her eyes get flinty and she appears to be gearing up for a fight.

"No the opposite of yes. A word connoting negative. As in 'No I will not be meeting the pack nor will I be doing that until I receive answers to my questions." Retrieving the book, I seek my lost page.

"GET OFF YOUR ASS AND INTO THAT SHOWER!" The words are said through gritted teeth. No movement on my part. "If you don't I will tell the Alpha." Why would she think I would care?

"Ah HA", I can feel her relax. "My page." The next second found the book rent to shreds. It was then the fight began.

Fists were thrown, claws shredded the couches, the walls gained holes, doors were off their hinges as we tossed each other around. I had her pinned by her throat when a hand violently ripped me from her.

"What the hell are you thinking!?!? She's your Beta Female! You are her Luna! It is your job to care for us not harm us!" Gently gathering Amelia up Red rushes her out, leaving the door open.

Standing up, staring at the open hallway door. "Don't think about it." In the rush of adrenaline I had missed his entrance, "You have 10 minutes to get ready. I suggest you take it. I'll shower in another room." Without waiting for my answer he left nor had he commented on what had just occurred.
