"Is everyone ready?" I asked. "I hope so!" responded Avery. "This is going to be marvelous!" chuckled Maybelle. We all giggled and put on our special sunglasses. Quickly Avery unlocked the door. The ghost flew out furious. Me and Maybelle tuned the cage and net on. Just as we planned it the ghost triggered the trap. Something went wrong though. The ghost did not have his chain box. We all started looking for it. Maybelle was ready to smash the lock. I was about to turn the flashlight on my phone on when I noticed what time it was. My heart was pounding and my blood pressure was rising fast. It was 11:55!!! "Guys it's eleven fifty-five!" I yelled. About four four minutes later we found it. "I see it!" I ran into the shed and broke open the fake cabinet as fast as I could. I opened it and Avery caught all of the chains in the other box. "Fifty seconds left!" I yelled. Maybelle started hitting the lock as hard as she could. "Twenty-three seconds!" I yelled. She hit the lock harder and harder. "10 seconds!" I yelled! I closed my eyes. BOOM! It broke and a big blinding bright light struck. The only question now is did we make it. We all started crying thinking we did not make it but then in the depths of our despair we heard a sound most people hate but we could not have loved it more. My alarm for midnight. We all just laugh not knowing what else to do.
