I looked outside to see all my friends. It was time. I went down to greet them trying my best not to show too many emotions but the second I saw my best friend Alice and Avery talking I couldn't help it. I ran over and gave them a hug and we all started crying. "Time to go girls." my Dad yelled from the car as him and my Mom closed the trunk. I said my goodbyes even though I didn't want to leave, grabbed my dog Cherry and was off. As we drove past the house I could feel all these memories of their rushing back. Soon I was asleep. I was trying to look on the bright side and dream about what our new house would look like. When we got there I woke up and there it was the new house.

It was...horrible! The paint was falling off the house, there were boards everywhere, it smelled like death, and I could see tons of disgusting dead bugs and animals. In the corner of my eye I saw a shed. I walked over to get a better look. Just as I was about to open the door I noticed something weird. There were scratches all over the entrance and something else. I tried to see it. It was a hole going through the door. I came closer and peered inside. Just then I heard a horrid screech. It was black and scary, in the shape of a flying boy. Then it hit me. It was a ghost! It turned around and looked at me. It had bright yellow eyes. It felt as if it was staring into my soul. I jumped back as it came closer to the door screeching louder and louder. I hit the cold and muddy ground. I hopped up and turned to run because now I know how horrible this place really is.
