"Mom?" I yelled. Just then I heard my mom scream. "Mom!" I yelled again. I ran downstairs. Then I saw it. It was the creature. It had my mom and the rest of my family was nowhere to be found. I was all alone. Then I fell through the ground and I saw everything disappear in the blink of an eye. I was in a pitch black room. I could hear the creature screeching and then... I woke up. I was sweating and screaming. It was all a dream. I ran downstairs and gave my Mom a huge hug. Then she handed me the ugliest outfit in the history of the world and told me to get changed. After I got changed and ran back downstairs to eat. Be warned this next question might scar you for life. My sister was matching me! I know, I know we're twins don't we always match? No we don't. There is no way I am going to wear this ugly outfit AND match my sister!!! Something told me I did not have a say in the matter. We heard a beep outside. The bus driver was telling us to hurry up. I could have imagined it but the kids on the bus acted funny the second we got on the bus they held their breath and moved away when we walked past. Now I knew something weird was going on in this strange town. Weird things were happening. When Avery and I tried out for the soccer team the girls kept backing away. They are either really bad or this town was avoiding us. I mean the coach wouldn't even get within three feet of us. Later was lunch and that's when my patience died. I kept trying to talk to people and ask them why all this was happening but it didn't work.
When the bus dropped us off I noticed a small person was grabbing something from under the shed with something glowing yellow on their neck climbing into the side of our house. I squinted my eyes. It was a little girl wearing a blue dress and white leggings with pigtails and two big sparkly silver bows. Maybelle! I ran as fast as I could, through the door open, zoomed up the stairs to the attic. There she was with a yellow triangular necklace with silver beads. Then it hit me. The necklace looked exactly like the ghost's eyes. "What are you doing." I questioned. She spun around frightened. "Oh. Well. Hello. You gave me quite a fright just now. "she boomed. "You didn't answer my question." I was not giving up. "Oh yes. I saw something shimmy on up the gutter so I went to find it for you and might I say it is perfectly marvelous up here." she replied. "I know what you're doing and I know about the shed. What I don't know is why everyone avoids me and my family." I blurted. "Oh dear. That's not perfectly marvelous. I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about." she argued. I grabbed her by the arm and we went to the shed. I told her to tell me she doesn't see the ghost. "I'm so sorry but there is nothing perfectly marvelous in there but dirt." she chuckled. I peered in. Nothing was in there. I could not believe it. I turned around to talk to her but she was gone again.
