*Angie's POV*
"Tom?" I questioned, "Tom, what are you doing?" But it only took me a couple seconds to realize that I wasn't saying it out loud, I was only saying it in my head. He layed me down on the bed and started to bunch up my dress.
"Tom, stop!" I felt like shouting but all I managed to get out was a few groans of dissatisfaction.
After couple minutes of some disgusting eyeing me up, I choked out a few words.
"My head hurts, Tom..." To which the reply was simply "Don't worry, Angie baby, you'll feel better soon."
Suddenly, I heard a loud bang and watched as the door was knocked down, but when I tried to focus on the figure standing in the doorframe, my eyes refused to focus. Instead, they closed and I drifted off into a drugged sleep.
I woke up and shot out of bed, my breathing frantic. Was that...all a dream? But it felt so real.
I took in my surroundings and realized that I must have been in the TARDIS, safe. I lifted up the covers and realized I was just in my underwear.
Weird. Why didn't I put on pajamas? I thought, quickly throwing on some sweats and a t-shirt that I saw folded on the chair in the room. Then, I padded out to the main area of the TARDIS to look for the others.
I look around, but to no avail. I couldn't seem to find Chris, Peej, or the Doctor. I decided to go and get a couple more hours of shut eye when I noticed a letter attached to the door.
Angie,
Chris, PJ and I had some... business to deal with before we leave. Please do not leave the TARDIS!
Sincerly~ The Doctor
I sighed, ripping up the letter and sitting down in one of the many chairs in the TARDIS.
I thought that I was going to be embarking on adventures, not waiting around forever to move on to the next place! What "Business" could they have left me here to go do anyways? I thought, grumbling.
I grabbed my phone to try and tame my boredom, thinking of what to do while I waited. I know! It was about time Phil uploaded, maybe I should check his...
Suddenly memories came not drifting, but rather speeding back, crashing into my mind. Horrible memories, the news, the hit and run, Dan. Before I even realized it, there were tears flooding my face.
Phil... He's gone... I remembered. And then it hit me, as hard as a train.
Angie, you're in a time machine.I stood up, looking towards the center of the TARDIS. It can't be all that hard, can it? I asked myself. I walked over to the control panel, wracking my brain to remember what the Doctor did when he operated it.
He pushed these buttons for the date, then he twisted this for the location, then he pulled this big lever, and we were up and away! I remembered, pulling and pushing the various knobs and buttons.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! I heard, and the TARDIS began shuddering. It stopped a moment after, and I walked tentatively to the TARDIS door. I opened it, peeking around. I certainly wasn't in the 60's anymore. I could see modern cars and even an ad for the iPhone 6 Plus on a billboard a ways off. The thing that struck me most, though, was the man I saw a few yards in front of me. He was tall, with dark hair. He wore pajama pants, a sweater, and some dark shoes. Phil! I realized."Phil!" I shouted. "Phil, don't cross that street!" I yelled, running towards him. He turned to me, a big smile on his face. Then, he put his feet into the street to cross to meet me, and that's when I heard the car coming around the corner.
I threw myself towards Phil, slamming into him just in time. The car whizzed past at a high speed, spraying water onto Phil and I, but I didn't care. I had saved Phil's life.
Angie didn't know that sometimes, things are better left the way fate was to have them. She didn't know the consequences that would occur because of her reckless behavior. If she had known what was to happen because of that, perhaps she would have left history the way it was supposed to be...
