Finding Simmons

"Guys, do you read me", Hunnigan called out.

"Hunnigan", Leon asked.

"You went dark after the place went down, I linked in a minute ago, but you weren't picking me up", Hunnigan explained.

"We got occupied with something", Kyra stated, "but we ran into Agent Birkin",

"I overheard the conversation", Hunnigan reassured, "the building she mentioned isn't far off, just stick to your current route, ok",

"Got it, thanks", Leon said as the line went dead; moving forward, the three reached an outdoor market where they saw something attacking someone before both disappeared.

"What was that", Helena asked.

"Trouble", Leon muttered.

"Stay on guard", Kyra ordered as they made their way to the opposite side of the market, only for a gate to stop them, three locks were on it.

"Oh great, three separate locks", Leon stated in sarcasm.

"Jesus, alright, let's just figure out a way to open it", Helena muttered.

"I could pick the locks, I just need something small", Kyra stated "like a bobby pin... or a small headband",

"Wait, you picked a lock with a headband", Helena asked.

"It took a lot of practice, but it helped me out back in the day", Kyra explained, "granted, I got into trouble most times, but was very handy",

"Unfortunately, we don't have either of those on us, we're gonna have to search ourselves", Leon stated as a noise caught their attention; a pile of meat beside them began moving on its own until a bioweapon emerged, different pieces of it coming out of the meat until it put itself back together.

"What the hell", Helena said in shock.

"Guess that's why the whole street is on lockdown, the residents were trying to keep it out", Leon explained.

"Well, this one is different", Helena said as the three shot at it, separating it's body, only for it to reattach itself.

"That's a new trick", Leon muttered.

"It's not a regenerator... but it's close to one", Kyra stated, "split up, try and find the keys".

Nodding their heads, the three ran in separate directions, the bioweapon following after them.

(Meanwhile)

"Koocheng is up ahead, at the mouth of the river", Sherry stated as the four came up to the river.

"Alright, come on", Jake said, moving forward, the two following only to stop when he turned around to see Sherry, still standing in her spot. "You're worried about Simmons, right... you're gonna be fine, ok",

The sound of a chainsaw rang out, snapping everyone's heads towards the noise as a bioweapon appeared.

"Let's go", Jake shouted as everyone ran for a boat; right before the creature could get onboard, a gunshot rang out, hitting it in the head, causing it to fall into the water, "Was that you",

"That guy a friend of yours", Lily asked as the boat began moving forward.

"We fought him before we ran into you guys", Sherry stated, "we'll cover them for you",

"I remember sis telling me about all this", Lily explained, looking at the revolver, "she wanted me away from this, but I also wanna help",

"Kyra's a good person", Sherry said, "when I was in training, she was someone who never got close to anyone, a lot of people even said she was like that in the past",
