FERNANDO'S POV:
Genevieve and I went with Marcus and our son so that we can meet him and he can meet his nephew. When we got there, we see him sharpening something and Marcus trying to talk to him.
"Hey, dad," Genevieve greeted as I got our son from the car seat.
"Hey," Marcus greeted.
"I'm your sister, Genevieve. This is my husband Fernando and our son Samuel,." Genevieve introduced us to Braden.
"First, I meet my father. Then, I find out that I have a sister, who is married and has a son." Braden says.
"I get that this is a lot to handle, but Marcus isn't a bad person," I tell my brother-in-law.
"You're just saying that because he's your father-in-law," Braden says, then he looks down.
"My parents sent me here as they went to college, so I kind of understand what it's like not to have a potent around when you're growing up. After they graduated from college and started their careers, they started having my siblings, while I was still here. They didn't tell me to move in with them, until my final year in high school. By that time, I hardly knew them and I was SO angry and it took me a while to forgive them. And Marcus wouldn't have backed down from his responsibility as a father. He's a lot of things, but a deadbeat isn't one of them," I explained to Braden.
The four of us went inside to talk more and we all got to know Braden. Then, we all started to talk about the party that my dad was having.
