Isa's Daughter

Jamie sat in front of her mother while her hair was being brushed by her mother. She was humming some random song that she had heared while tapping her foot.

While Isa knew that Jamie knew how to brushed her own hair she offered to just so that she could think back while brushing the young girls long golden hair.

"How about Jesse?" Milo, Isa's husband suggested as he and Isa ate dinner.

Isa looked up from her plate at Milo. " They're not going to be a boy, I'm telling you Milo."

Milo rolled his eyes playfully. " Well it can be for any gender." He said slightly laughing.

Isa laughed along with him. " Ok well then how about Jessica?"

Milo looked up from the bite of food he was about to eat. " Isn't that a little to feminine?"

" To feminine? It's a girl name." Isa said after taking a bite of her food.

The door then opened and in walked Reginald and his wife Annabelle. " Sorry where late! Reggie wouldn't put on his dress shirt!"

Isa quickly looked back at Milo. " And we are definitely not naming our child after us."

The group all laughed before Reggie,Annabelle , and Reggie all sat down at there own chairs and started eating.

Suddenly the five year old Reggie spoke up. " How about Jamie? It's a pretty name."

Isa and Milo both looked up from there plates and at each other and then at Reggie.

"Well, it is a nice name." Milo complemented.

" Yes it is a lovely name." Isa said back.

"Oh my Isa, she's beautiful..." Said Annabelle as she looked at the baby

Isa kept her eyes on her baby girl. She had dark brown hair and dark green eyes. " Thank you Ann, her name is Jamie."

As Isa looked at her daughter's hair that she had now finished. After a few years her hair had gone from a brown to a golden yellow just like her fathers.

The young girl looked at her hair and then turned to her mother. " Thanks mama! I love it!" She said happily.

Isa was about to say that Jamie looked lovely but was cut off when her daughter jumped into her arms and gave Isa a hug. " I love you mama!" She said happily.

Isa held onto her daughter tightly. " I love you to sweet heart."

" awwww why does mom get all the hugs?" A voice said from the door way.

Isa and Jamie looked up. And Jamie quickly jumped up and ran over to the man in the door. " papa!" Jamie said as she smiled and jumped into her fathers arms.

Milo picked her up and spun her around with the little girl laughing. " Hey sweetie!" He then sat her back on the ground and bent down so that he was on her level of height. " Hows your birthday going sweetie?" He asked.

The little girl giggled. " It's going great papa!"

Milo gave her a smile. " Great to hear that."

There was then a knock at the door.

The young girl's smile seamed to get bigger by the second. " Yay! Reggie is here!" She then quickly ran out of the room and ran down the hall almost running into a few people as she ran past.

When Reggie came over the two played for hours while Isa and Milo talked with Reginald and Annabelle. But after a while it was time for Jamie to open her presents. Reggie and his family got her a collection of different books all about plants. Witch Jamie loved. Milo got her a stuffed animal that was of a chicken because Isa didn't want Jamie playing with Benedict. And last was Isa's present.
