You sat there staring at nothin except a blank white wall, your eyes fighting so hard to keep the tears from gushing out of you like a waterfall. His room was very familiar after 4 years of being in it you could still figure out where everything was, where he kept everything and how he liked everything placed.

Hayes joined the military 6 years back and was sent to Vietnam 4 years ago, you heard 3 weeks ago he was missing and could possibly be killed and since then you sat in his room 24/7 at his house which his parents didn't mind, you haven't eaten for 2 weeks and only talked to Nash out of everyone you knew.

"(y/n)?" Nash interrupted your thoughts

"Yes Nash" you reply about to spill tears

"You need to eat ok you haven't eaten for 2 weeks and it's not healthy you can die (y/n)!"

"As long as I'm with Hayes I don't care"

"That's it come on" Nash pick you up bridal style and carries you out to your car and places you lighty in the passenger seat

"What are we doing?" You ask confused

"Going to your favourite place"

You knew exactly what he was talking about, The cute little hotel that was beautiful and amazing except very little people went there, you and Hayes went there for your first date after meeting.

You and Nash pulled up into the hotel parking lot walking in seeing the same old light up sign you and Hayes stood on at the end of the date. You walk in with Nash's arm draped over your shoulder as you walk up to the front desk.

"Reservations for the dance hall under grier please" Nash spoke to the man behind the desk

After typing in Nash's last name on his computer he sweetly replies

" Go ahead."

You walk down the long hall for what seems like years to stand at the door with no idea what's happening. Opening the door you see family, friends, and others who are close to yours and Hayes families.

You were surprised and starting to feel a little better, forcing a fake smile on your face to make everyone think your as happy as ever. Next thing you know something extrodinary happens.

Walking into the middle of everyone facing you, the same Icy blue eyes, brown hair except cut shorter because of military purposes and of course the same cheesey white toothed smile you love all right in your face.

"HAYESSSSSS" you scream running up to the camouflage dressed boy you love jumping onto him with you arms around his neck and legs around his waist hanging off of him like a koala.

You don't even care anymore you start crying harder then ever before, making a very large puddle on Hayes right shoulder you decide to jump down and look at the icy blue orbs looking at yours.

"I thought you were dead?" You ask

"I was found later that week and they sent me home" he replied with a long smile

" I love you so much hayes"

"I love you too baby"

Then you just hugged, danced, talked and of course ate, after a few hours of all that you sit with Hayes in a hotel room he booked for the 2 of you for the night.

"I'm so happy your home, safe now" you say looking at him once again for about the 1,000 time tonight

"I'm happy I'm with you again beautiful" he replies examinimg your face before placing a long gentle soft kiss on your lips.

Your eyes become heavy and right before you're completely asleep you hear the faint words

"Goodnight baby girl"
