Chapter 15

Jisoo dries her hair with her small towel. She sits on the couch turns on the tv. That time also, there's news about the dead body she found today. When she thinks about it, it gave shivers through her body.

"What you watching?" Seulgi sits beside her.

"News." Jisoo simply answers. 

"Oh! I heard there's a dead body being found right?" She asks. 

"Yeah. And it terrifying." Jisoo mutters. 

"I hope that criminals stop doing this." Seulgi breaths out. "I mean, it makes the girls so hard to move. Like you." 

"Don't you think why this criminal only kill a guy? Then, at the same time, we heard a girl being kidnapped." Jisoo speaks. 

"Yeah, I kinda...thinking about that too. It seems like the case is related." Seulgi lay on the couch. 

Jisoo stares at the television but her mind is somewhere else. What Seulgi said is true. This case seems related to each other.

"Both of you, if you want to eat dinner, just heat it, okay?" The mother yells. 

"Okay!!" Seulgi responds. "Hey, I feel like want to eat chicken. I heard the store near here, have a great fried chicken."

"Really? How you know?" Jisoo asks.

"I went there this morning. I taste it and damn, it really delicious." She claps her hands. 

"What are we waiting for? Let's buy it!!" Jisoo squealing brightly. 

"I will go. You just stay here, okay?" Seulgi gets up. 

Somehow, Jisoo felt uneasy to let her go. She let out a heavy sigh and hold her wrist. Seulgi looks at her with confusion. 

"What's wrong?" She asks.

"Let me go buy it. You just stay here." Jisoo gets up and went upstairs. 

"But, Jisoo!! It fine. You just got back from work!!" She insisted. 

"Well, I'm not tired yet. It was okay, Seul. Just stay here and I will text you if something happens." Jisoo convinced her. She wearing her jacket. 

"Fine. Go home quickly, okay?" She said sternly.

Jisoo chuckles and nods. She wears her shoes and went out of the house. It was windy and so cold. She walks and tries to think positively. 

Their area becomes quiet since that murderer happens. Jisoo wears earphones and listening to songs. She doesn't like it when it too quiet like this. Especially when she alone on the street.

"I feel like in the Train to Busan movie. It so quiet and creepy." She talking to herself. 

It takes a few minutes to go there. Thank goodness, it still opens. Or not, it just wastes her energy. She went in and be welcomed by a nice worker.

"Hey, can I get a set of fried chicken? With sauce also." Jisoo orders. 

"Sure, peanut." He nods and gives the order to the cooker. Like how this story told you, Jisoo known as a baby peanut in her hometown.

"Um...peanut?" He calls again.

"Yes?" 

"Are you alone?" He asks. 

"Yes. Why?" Jisoo asks. 

"Peanut, I suggest you not to go out alone again. It dangerous, don't you know?" He asks. He looks

"I know. It was okay. I will be fine. I'm Jisoo, I'm okay." She winks at him.

The worker just chuckles and nods. But still worried. After waiting for a few minutes, her order already arrives. She pays them and went out.

Well, the worker's words stuck inside her head. She's not okay actually. She scares but she never shows it. While she walking, she feels someone behind her. 

She takes deep breaths and let it out. She slowly turns around and saw a black guy figure standing not far from her. Her breath hitched and almost stumbles back.

"W-Who are y-you?" Jisoo asks. The guy tilted his head.

"I'm a-asking you a question!!" Jisoo raises her voice.

Suddenly, that guy chuckling like a psychopath. Jisoo hugging the fried chicken box tightly and slowly take a step backward. 

"You-You scaring me..." She speaks. 

That guy just stands there. Jisoo gained her courage and...RUNAWAY. She runs as fast as she can. When she thinks it again, it was the same figure she found when she with drunk Seulgi.

Jisoo looks back and no one. But, she just keeps running. She running on the stairs and soon she gets down-

"AHHHH!!!" Someone hit her with an iron pipe on her head.

Jisoo groaning in pain. Her eyes barely open and only to see a guy with a white mask. She dragged herself from him even it hurt. 

"H-Help!! Someone h-help!!" Jisoo shouts. The guy just laughs and once again hits her legs. 

"Arghh!!" Jisoo yells in pain.

Now, she can't move. That guy kneels beside her and grabs her jaw. "You will be perfect for my collection." He finally speaks. 

"Shut up!!" Jisoo bites his fingers. He groans in pain.

"SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!" As loud as Jisoo can, she yelling.

"JISOO!!" 

That's the only thing she heard before she closes her eyes.

Someone speaking but she couldn't figure it out. She tries as hard she can to open her eyes but can't. 

"It okay, Ms, Kim. We just need you to sleep." Obviously, it was a doctor. 

Her eyes once close again. 

She felt like an hour or more than an hour already sleep. She opens her eyes and the light hitting her eyes. 

"Mmm..." Jisoo groans. 

Her hands reach to rubbing her face. Finally, her eyes open and her sight clear. She looks around and found that she in the hospital.

"Hospital, huh?" She mutters. Then, her head hurt. She touches her head and feels a bandage on it. 

"Ughh, darn it. He really hit me that hard." 

The door opens reveals her best friend. Seulgi gasp when saw she already wake up. 

"Jisoo!!" She hugs her tightly. 

"Ow ow ow!!! That's hurt!!" Jisoo whines. 

"Sorry." Seulgi chuckles. "Anyway...YOU ARE ALIVE!!!" She yells.

"I am." Jisoo rolls her eyes. 

"I'm fuc*ing worried you know!!" She cried. "When I got information from the police that you being sent to the hospital, I couldn't think anything instead of dead!!"

"I'm sorry, Seul. Where is my parent?" Jisoo asks.

"They worried like how I'm worried too. But, they couldn't come because of work. Aera also crying but she has to go to school." Seulgi explains.

She nods. It silent at first but then, something hit her. 

"Wait. Who informs you just now?" Jisoo frowns.

"Police officer." She answers.

"Do you know who he is?" Jisoo asks.

"Umm...I don't know who he is." Seulgi shakes her head. 

"Can you described him?" 

"He has a broad shoulder, black hair, and oh!! Handsome face." She said.

Broad shoulder. 

None other than...Kim SeokJin. 

So..it was his voice and he's the one who saves me.
