Chapter 29

"It was him!! I know it was him, Jin!!" Jisoo yells. There's big plastered on her head due to her head bleeding a bit because of the hit.

"I know, Jisoo. Calm down, please." The man tries to hold her. "I saw him just now. We will--"

"No!! They will hurt Aera!! We--We have to be fast!! Or not we will be late!!!" She cried. The words of that guy make her lose control.

"We can't just be rushing like this. Who knows it might be a plan." Jin sighs. He keeps thinking about how those guys can barge his house. His security is tight.

"We have to find him. Whether you in or not!!" She was about to walk away but the man had already grabbed her arms. "Let me go, Jin," Jisoo said full of anger.

"You want to go and get yourself kill!? Don't be stupid. Aera got kidnapped and I don't want your stupid plan to get yourself in trouble." He gritted his teeth, trying to hold his anger.

"As long as I save my sister and catch that bad guy." Jisoo turns to him. "We lose him too many times already. And are you going to stay like this?"

"Listen Jisoo. I know you are scared and angry right now. But we can't follow our hearts right now. It's too dangerous." The sound of his voice was more like pleaded.

"Please Jin. We got to go right now!! If we stay longer and try to investigate, how can we catch that culprit if keep waiting and waiting!? After so much waiting, the case will be long forgotten. It always happened like that!!!" She yells.

When Jin got enough of it, he grabs her shoulder, forcing her to look at him. "As long as I'm alive, this case wouldn't be forgotten!! There are a lot of people out there losing their daughter and the one they love. They all depend on us!! You have to believe that!!"

"As much as I want to follow those culprits, we have to wait the right time, find where they keep your sister and make a plan. We have to get ready with whatever they prepared and I can't lose you. Please, Jisoo." He begging.

Hearing his words, just made her weak. Jisoo bursts out into tears. "But J--Jin...Aera...the culprit...why it must be me he wants!!" She cried, falling into the man's arms.

Jin didn't waste his time. He brings them on the couch with her on top of him, caressing her hair. "I know, love. Shh, it must be tough for you. I'm here for you. I will never leave your side. I promise you. We will catch that culprit and teach him a lesson."

Even though they are not official yet, just have a first kiss with each other, teasing each other, flirting with each other, and faking their relationship with Jin's parents, they are still attached. Their love grew day by day.

Aera woke up by someone throwing a bucket of water at her. She yelps and gasps for air.
"What the fuck!!??" She frowns.

"Good. You are awake." The guy throws it away from the bucket. "Your sister getting on my nerve." He sits in front of her, lighting up his cigarette.

"Why? Does she reject you? Not surprised." She rolls her eyes.

"That officer has to be dead. That's the only way to get her." The guy ignored her statements.

"You know Jisoo unnie wouldn't accept you especially hurt someone she loves." Aera spokes.

"She didn't love that police officer. I don't care how many years to make her love me, as long as I have her beside me." That guy blows the smoke on her face.

Aera is coughing, hating a guy who smokes. "Why are you obsessed with her? It is not that you know her so well."

The guy stood up, chuckling. He throws the cigarette away and steps on it. "She's a wonderful woman. I adore her. I will always be there for her to show that I'm interested in her. But she..."

He slams the table, "She never looks at me!! She never feels the same as me!! She never notices me!! She notices another guy who she just know this year!!"

"Rejection is part of our life. Even I got rejected many times. Do you have to kidnap people and kill them to let out steam? That's stupid." Aera states. "Trust me. A single hit on that officer, my sister will never, forever forgive you."

"That's why I have to get her. Tied her up."

Aera frowns.

"She wouldn't be able...to stop me." The guy turns around. He slowly took off his mask.

Aera who slowly saw his face, jaw-dropping. She couldn't believe it was him.
"Oh gosh. My sister will hate you forever for sure."

The next morning, Jisoo gets up with a headache. She has sure been crying till her sleep. A pair of strong arms prevent her from moving.

She turns only to see Jin sleeping with his arms around her waist. "Oh yeah. He insisted to leave me alone." Jisoo rubbed her forehead.

"You awake?" The voice startled her. Jisoo looks at him. His eyes are still half-open.

"Sorry. I shouldn't make you sleep in an uncomfortable position." She sighs

"It's fine." Jin ruffles his bed hair. "Are you fine? How do you feel right now?" He asks immediately.

"You know how I feel Jin. It's terrible." She rubbed her face.

He knows Jisoo is still worried about her little sister.  Who wouldn't right? Jin gets up. "Pack your stuff."

"Huh? Where are we going?"

"The culprit knows where we live. So, it is better if we move out for a while." Jin answers.

"Where do we stay? Hotel? Hell no." She scoffs.

"No, we're not going there. I will call Namjoon. He lives alone have a guest room. I did sleepover there before." He explains. Jin takes his phone and walks away.

Jisoo sighs and went towards her room. The scene where the guy touches her gives shivers through her spine.

She gulps and slowly twisted the knob. The door opens and reveals her messy bedroom. 

"Whoever barge in Jin's house, he probably know the way in it and where the security is. Or..." Jisoo looks at the window that broke. "...he asks someone who knows everything about Jin's house."
