Chapter 8

Jinyoung grabs her hand and it makes Jisoo startled. She looks at him with a confused face.
"What are you doing?" Jisoo raises her eyebrows.

"I heard that Suzy said you work as a maid. Is that right?" He asks. There's no joking tone. It only seriousness in his face.

"Yes. Why?" Jisoo asks.

"I told you to work at me because it better than being order like a slave." Jinyoung scoffs. 

"What's wrong with you? I told you I don't like to work at your club. I don't like that kind of place." Jisoo pulls her wrist and eats her bread. 

"You can work with me as an assistant," Jinyoung suggests.

"Jinyoung, what happen to you? Why you suddenly disagreed with this? I thought you will be happy that I got a job." Jisoo stares at him with frowns.

"No. I mean, I'm happy but I'm just scared that your boss might hurt you." He sighs. 

Jisoo smiles softly and holds his wrist. "I know how to take care of myself. Don't worried." 

He just sighs and gives a small smile. It normal actually for Jisoo, because Jinyoung always cares for her like she is his little sister. 

"Anyway, where is Suzy?" Jisoo asks.

"I don't know." Jinyoung shrugs his shoulder. 

"Usually, she will be the first one who's arrived," Jisoo said. 

Jinyoung about to talk but Suzy came right on time. She looks like running from her house to this place. She catching her breath and sits beside Jisoo. Both of them look at her with a confused face.

"What happened to you?" Jinyoung asks.

"I run away from a dog. He almost bites me." She breathes out. Jisoo hands her water and she gladly drinks it.

"Next time, use the other way. I told you your shortcut is not safe!!" Jisoo scolds her. 

"Geez, sorry okay? I overslept and I just remember I have to meet you guys." She pouting. Jinyoung scoffs and leans his back on his chair.

"No wonder why you become sleepyhead." He smirks. 

"Yahhh!! How dare you say that!?" Suzy raises her voice to him. 

"It true though." He shrugs his shoulder. Suzy just rolls her eyes.

Then, she turns to Jisoo who just keeps eating. "Jisoo, don't you have work today?" She asks. 

"I have but I'm on my break." Jisoo answer. 

"Hey, want to go to the arcade?" Jinyoung asks. 

"Just go both of you. I have work." Jisoo said. 

"Oh come on. You never hang with us again." Suzy holds her arm.

"That was the time where I was jobless." Jisoo rolls her eyes. 

She packs her stuff because she wants to finish her work. Jin told her already that he will come home this afternoon. 

"I told Jisoo. You should come to work with me. So, you can have free time always." He says. 

"Once I said no mean NO!!" Jisoo yells at him. He raises his hand like a criminal.

Suzy glares at Jinyoung whose ignore Jisoo's statement just now. 
"Can you stop forcing her?" She snapped. 

Jinyoung rolls his eyes and crosses his arms on his chest. Both of them always fight each other but that what makes Suzy love him.

She washing the dishes peacefully. It was silent. Like, no music or something just silent. But the television is turned on without sound. She mutes it. Jisoo wipes her hand and goes clean the living room while waiting for Jin.

While she vacuums the living room, her eyes landed on the television. She turns off the vacuums and raises the volume up.

'Breaking News!!!'

'There's a dead body being found on the same street and it a male body. It is found at 6 am. The witness said, she heard someone screaming and she follow the sound and found the dead body.'

Jisoo let out a heavy sigh. One more dead body being found and it makes her scared a little. She sits on the couch and stares at the tv. 

"I swear if Jin didn't handle this case, I will quit." She jokes. 

Suddenly, she heard the door being open. She gets up and saw Jin walk in and he looks exhausted. It obvious because he sweating, look tired and moody. Jisoo raises her eyebrows at him.

"Are you okay?- I mean, you look exhausted." Jisoo walks toward him. 

"I bet you already see the news. And I'm so tired today. I ask to go home early because I'm so stressed today." Jin walks past her after hand her his jacket.

Jisoo hates the way he treats her like a slave. She throws his jacket on the couch and follows him to the kitchen.

"I already prepared everything. Your lunch and dinner. I clean everything including your room- but!! I didn't touch anything so don't worried." She goes opens the fridge and Jin just watches her movement.

"This is your dinner. You just need to heat them." Jisoo said and she looks like a material wife. 

Jin put down his cup. "Are you going somewhere?" He asks. 

"Yes. Tonight, my best friend will come back to Korea and she lives with me temporarily. So, I have to pick her up at the airport since it dangerous outside at night." She explains.

"Why just don't let someone else pick her up?" Jin scoffs. "Like you don't have other friends." He said.

"So what? Is it wrong for me to pick her up? What is your problem?" Jisoo puts her hands on her hips.

"I don't have a problem with it. But, remember. Once you step out from this house, I hope I wouldn't get a report of someone being kidnapped and saw that it was  you." He says frankly. 

Jisoo jaw drops. "Are you wish that I being kidnapped!!??"

"I didn't say that. I just said 'I hope'." He smirks. 

She sigh. She grabs her phone and walks away. But before she steps outside the kitchen, Jin grabs her wrist. 

"What?" She growls. 

"Jisoo..." He looks at her with a serious face.

Jisoo raises her eyebrows. He stands up and standing in front of her. He bends down until it reaches her height. 

"You got a zit on your cheek." Jin laughs.

"YAHHH!!!!!"
