Ellaria looked at Connor and then at the five Knights, "Thank you for saving us today; we are Onyx, Guardians of earth." Ellaria stated and bowed her head, along with her brothers and Cassian. "We know who you are, child," Spoke this smooth angelic voice from another knight, with icy blue eyes and her hair in perfect braids. "And we have heard of the judgments you placed on your sister." She spoke honestly to the four. As she then walked to the window, looking out of an unfamiliar world. "Well then, if you do not like us, then why did you save us?" Soren muttered as his chestnut eyes diverted towards her. "Aylin asked this of us; she had never asked of anything until you four came along. We honored her request, she needed us, and we were presented before her." The girl with a pale completion responded as Silvia interjected.

"Selene, please be kind. They are half-angel after all." Selene then looked over and gave Silvia a half-hearted smile, as she then turned around and sat back in her place. "Well, it looks like the Kingstone teens have managed to insult everyone around her in some way?" exclaimed a voice from the opposite corner. Connor stood with a cup of coffee in one hand and the other in his pocket. He then strolled across the room with heavy manly steps, putting the mug down, ruffled his dark, thick, scruffy hair. Then looking at them with golden eyes as if he was waiting for something.

The four were taken back by this. Knowing precisely what Connor was asking and waiting for each of them to say. Ellaria waited to see if either of her brothers of Cassian would say it first. "Au-gh, boys, why can they never say sorry!" Ellaria grunted in frustration, finally saying it as her brothers and Cassian mumbled after her. "Thank you, Ari!" acknowledged Connor in a songful tone. "Look, everyone can stay here and look for May in the morning," Connor remarked, looking at his watch as he walked to his room. "Wait, won't Aylin come back here? I mean, she was staying here before?" Cassian acknowledges, now unsure they were in the right place. Connor then turned back around and folded his arms. "I don't see why she should; she grabbed her bags and left in the middle of a shift earlier. May was going to go it alone, she knew someone was after her. She just didn't know who." Connor gulped as his face filled with worry. "Look, I know you will all want to find her, but tonight, the offer still stands you can stay here?"

"Thank you, Connor; I think it would be best to stay here and work a plan in the morning." Silvia insisted on talking to the Knights, hoping the four teens would do the same. Cassian agreed to as they knew it was late, and the fact that Aylin could look after herself was now apparent. By three that morning, the majority of them were sprawled out on a hard, dirty floor, with only a blanket and a pillow for comfort. But it was not a peaceful night's sleep for Cassian; he couldn't stop thinking about why Aylin hadn't walked back through the door. He somehow knew she had a hold on him; he wasn't sure what this hold was. Nevertheless, he knew it was powerful. "You're awake too?" spoke a soft, wise voice; as he looked over, Cassian could see Silvia lit by moonlight. He sighed, looking away and then back at her awkwardly. "Please come sit; us leaders always are restless." Silvia smiled as she placed her hand on the empty space next to her. "The world seems so quiet tonight?"

Cassian smirked, trying to make small conversation with Silvia as he joined her. "Yes, to my knights, this is all new; they have never known earth." Silvia smiled, catching his eye line and noticing the worry spread across his face. "Why have you never been to earth? Surely you have had hunts that spill over to earth?" Cassian asked in keeping his voice quiet, not to wake up everyone. "Aylin would have been in danger here, and that would put us in danger as well. So if that was the case, Aylin would call on a few useful friends she had met along the way?" Silvia stated.

"Wait, so who is it that Aylin seems to be running from? She didn't make much sense in the last conversation we had?" Cassian intent on knowing precisely what they were up against. Silvia chuckled and then paused as she looked at Cassian. "I am not oblivious to the mark that she has left on you, Cassian; I can see that you are worried about her." With that, Cassian simply looked away from Silvia for a second, "Well, Aylin had been running all her life. First, it was in the great war of Ghostvalley, where your friends and your self horrifically lost your parents. I bet they have forgotten what Aylin did for them that day, Galileo the coward probably erased it from their memories." Silvia snarled in anger as she shook her head in disgust. "What happened that night Silvia, what did Aylin do?" Cassian was intrigued to know more. Silvia paused, deciding to chose her words carefully. "Aylin, still only a half-angel and no older than eight, then watching her dead parents dying. She took her father's blade and told her to go to the last place hell would try to conker. The hill or Hella, she then told Kepler to save her sibling and you as you were a stray child there as well; Aylin then ran into the fire and flames once more to avenge her parent's death. That's when she got taken by Baze, a powerful man in hell and most horrific in his methods." Silvia explained in in-depth detail, causing Cassian to be hooked on her every word.

"I never knew; she must have suffered so much pain, I can't bring myself to imagine it," Cassian spoke, startled by the thought alone. "Well, how did she escape Baze? Like I said, Aylin was never really one of the details?" Cassian expressed. Silvia then proceeded to tell him. "Well, she was never the one to talk of her past well. Aylin mainly blocked it from her own memories. However, she told me before she did such things. Aylin used to be summoned by Baze like a pet; he took amusement in her pain. Over time she made him believe she only saw his side of things, long story short. She was then given a hunt of three children of angel blood, she was sent here, to New York. Aylin didn't like the fact it sounded too similar to her siblings, and between you and I, his intuition was right. Anyway, she couldn't bear it, so there and then she slaughtered Baze's men. She had been fatally wounded, but she manages to get to Glimmerborne woods. Fairy's of all things found her and took her to god, and there you have it."

Silvia described with admiration the person she was lucky to call a friend. "Look, Cassian, whatever you feel for Aylin, I need you to think clearly about it. One heart around here has already be bruised too many times from her inability to stay." Silvia echoed as she peered over her shoulder to Connor's door. Cassian got the message and understood. He then sighed and began to walk back to his spot on the floor. "Thank you, Silvia, that was good to know," He whispered with a husky voice, continuing to walk away. Silvia then smiled graciously and continued to look out at the moon and the city lights.
