Kenobi and Skywalker waited patiently and exchanged a soft smile between them. "You've already become emotionally tied to the mandalorian, haven't you?" Anakin teased, elbowing the older master. Kenobi shot him a slightly agitated glare, "Don't be ridiculous, Anakin," He replied, shaking his head.
The conversation halted just in time as the doors slid open revealing the two Jedi hunched over the table.
Kit fisto – a lime green male with tentacles dropping from his head – pulled himself up towards the respected presence.
"Obi-Wan, Anakin, welcome," He greeted them humbly as the two entered and gathered themselves around the table.
Plo Koon gazed towards Kenobi sensing his growing emotional bond.
Koon finally shuffled, igniting the table and displaying a hologram of Jesse Gibson.
Kenobi was puzzled as to how the jedi had gathered this image but swiftly brushed it off. Koon spoke up as he rested his hands upon the steel grey rim, "Jesse Gibson. Why is he here, Obi-Wan?"
Kenobi shuffled, folding his arms behind his back. "He saved my life upon Naboo. I was cornered and he aided me in fighting off separatists droids," Kenobi explained, which was followed by one of Anakin's great interruptions. "He asked for my help and I couldn't give it to him since Jupiter and I were struggling ourselves. After we defeated the droids, we met with Kenobi and discovered that Jesse Gibson had helped Obi-Wan defeat his share."
Kit shuffled, "Can we trust him?"
Plo looked worriedly towards Obi-Wan and Anakin. Kit had questioned them correctly. Even if mandalorians were known to be loyal, it only takes one to break the chain. And this could be the one.
Kenobi finally spoke up and parted the growing silence, "He seems to have positive intentions. Gibson hasn't done any harm to anyone yet and he seems to be more captivated by the republic," The jedi explained, placing a hand below his chin.
Anakin stood silently. He didn't seem to have anything to add to the conversation.
Kit nodded, absorbing the information. However, Plo didn't seem to exactly agree. He was still persuaded that this warrior could easily defy the republic and feed information to a terrorist organisation or worse...the separatists.
Kenobi gazed towards Plo, "I can sense your unease, Plo. I promise you there is nothing to worry about," Kenobi reassured as the masked jedi perked up with a faint idea.
"To ease all of our unease, I believe it would be best to address the council about this matter. I'm sure master Yoda will have a solution."
Kenobi nodded, which triggered Anakin to mimic his actions.
"Thank you," Anakin hummed, following Kenobi as he left the commander centre.
The pair trailed themselves down the wing in complete silence. Skywalker suddenly broke the heavy absence of sound. "I'm sure Master Yoda will agree that helmet boy isn't any harm," He muttered. Kenobi nodded softly, gazing towards Anakin over his shoulder. "I know, Anakin. He deserves to be allowed to stay with the republic. After all, he did save my life."
Anakin replied, "I know he did, master."

The pair continued their slow walk and carried on discussing the topic of the newcomer. They came to a mutual agreement that he didn't pose a threat and just in time. The pair reached the hangar and observed the continued debate between the padawan and the masked warrior. "Looks like your padawan has taken a liking to mister Gibson," Kenobi hummed, nudging Anakin.
Anakin felt a strange feeling erupt in his chest. Envy. He struggled to shake it off. This wasn't right.
