Yoda shuffled as Mace Windu grumbled a small remark. Holograms were sprayed against chairs to fill in for the council members that couldn't be present upon the occupied planet.
The doors slipped open with a soft crackle as Kenobi and Anakin presented themselves to those present at the meeting.
"A difference, it is. To have you standing instead of sitting, Kenobi," Yoda mused, which triggered a stifle from his close ally, Windu.
The jedi knight smiled, nodding softly before shuffling to fold his arms behind his spine.
"The mandalorian," Mace addressed, wrapping his hands closely together. "He saved you, yes?"
Kenobi explained, "He did, Master Windu. He claims to have information about the separatists and their future plans. We aren't particularly sure how he knows." The classy jedi observed as a croaky voice erupted from Plo Koon. "We addressed this upon the Rebellion. Obi-Wan states that Jesse Gibson does not pose a threat to the republic."
Kenobi turned to Plo Koon, "I still stand by what I say. He saved me upon Naboo with what seems like little motifs. Possibly a good deed." Obi-Wan didn't mention what Jesse had previously explained to him about his financial situation. It wasn't exactly relevant at the moment but that seemed to stick with him. Because of the republic and this war, funding was being flooded into the military. A tiny fraction was dished to those that truly needed it. The families wasting away in poverty across the galaxy. Species dying from diseases that could be cured with simple inoculations but no...The republic was absorbing the credits and flogging it on look alike warriors and advanced technology that simply fuelled the dragging conflict. He now began to understand what senator Padmè had explained to them previously. However, Kenobi had no say in what the senators decided to do with the credits. He was supposedly here to keep the peace but even that seemed like a lie.
"This I know," Yoda hummed, "Watch closely you will," The rackety olive beast muttered, gesturing towards Kenobi. "And Anakin, continue your padawan's training," Mace added after the knight with a stern expression.
"Yes master," Anakin bowed softly as Kenobi did the same. Kenobi closed the debate, "Thank you for your time."
The two close friends removed themselves from the council room and halted themselves outside.
"Well, Master, it seems like helmet boy is sticking around," Anakin prompted a reaction from Kenobi. "To your disgust," He replied with a subtle smirk.
