Mysterious Discoveries

HOGWARTS ARRIVAL

ALEX POV

As I got back I slipped in and quickly changed. I packed my case, stuffing Draco's hoodie in there. I could never tell anyone, nobody would understand.
Luckily, I was leaving for Hogwarts and I wouldn't have to see him again.

We got to the station and we all boarded the train. I had my owl with me, Emerald. I sat in a booth with Harry, Ron and Hermione and we starting speaking about the different classes. Hermione was really helpful with explaining everything to me. It really did help having her. I noticed Harry having a moment with a girl at the trolley as he was getting some snacks. As he walked back in I was ready to ask away.

"Sooo.. who was that" I asked slowly.

"Oh, that's just Cho, Cho Change she's in Ravenclaw" he put simply.

"He fancies her" Ron chuckled.

"Hey I've never said that" harry disputed.

"Well you don't really need to Harry. It's blatantly obvious. every time she's around, you get all nervous and sort of clammy" Hermione added.

"Jee thanks for that" Harry snapped.

We all ended up laughing about it. As time passed, I could tell they wanted to speak about something without me listening in. They often did and I got it.

"Right erm, I'm going to go see if I can find Fred or Ginny" I said while getting up.

"See you in the castle" they all hummed at the same time.

As I left the cart, I aimed for Ginny first. I did not want to see George, especially after yesterday. I missed Sirius already. I enjoyed being able to work with him at the order. It was nice, we had a chance to bond. As I continued walking, I noticed Fred, George and someone else in a compartment. I wanted to keep walking but I caught eye contact with Fred and he had already gotten up to slide the door open.

"Well, look who it is. Our newest classmate"  Fred smiled.

"My favourite twin, what a lovely coincidence seeing you here" I joked back.

Fred and their friend chuckled. I could tell George was annoyed, AS USUAL. We had been avoiding each other since shopping and it wasn't exactly going well. We'd bump into each other, argue and leave. The cycle was never ending.

"I'm just kidding" I said in George's direction as I sat down next to Fred.

"Hi I'm Lee Jordan" their friend spoke to clearly divert the attention from whatever George wanted to say.

"Lovely to meet you, I'm Alex" I replied.

"Oh I know who you are, these two haven't shut up about you" lee replied.

"Shut up Lee" George spat.

"So George, where's the girlfriend" I asked sarcastically. I was so sick of his rude comments.

"We broke up" George said very slowly.

"Oh" I quietly replied.

"Erm, I think we should go see Ginny's settled, lee come with?" Fred spoke dragging Lee out of the compartment.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you or anything" I said softly to George.
