A 12-feet tall and plump (huge) beast walks out of the water. It has a human-like face on a goat-like head, fish-like eyes, ugly pointed teeth as that of a cat, large human-like nose, two goat-like horns on its head, human-like chest, four human-like hands; having long claw-like fingers, human-like belly, four horse-like legs (hoofs) and a fish-like tail; having scales.
Derick lies down, moves silently on his belly and peeps at the beast through a small space under the boat.
The beast shakes its body, water splashes out of its body and it walks slowly out of the water towards the island.
Derick quietly goes to where others are and keep nodding his head.
DAN
(quietly to Derick) What does it look like?
DERICK
(quietly)
It's a beast,
JOSH
(quietly)
A beast like a monster?
DERICK
(quietly)
It somewhat looks like a carnivorous centaur; twice the size of a lion.
(Josh giggles) Shhhhh...
JOSH
(quietly)
Are you sure?
DERICK
(quietly)
Hey, do I look like a comedian to you? Didn't you hear the sound of the waters?
JABESH
(quietly)
We're all going to die.
KANE
(shivers)
O my God.
JOSH
(quietly)
This isn't happening, I have to wake up from this dream.
JABESH
(quietly)
Are you sure it's your dream or mine? I do have freaking dreams like this one, I hope to wake up soon.
DAN
(quietly)
This is real, dudes! (to Derick)
We should do something.
JOSH
(quietly)
There's nothing we can do, we have to hide and escape.
JABESH
(quietly) That's right.
(to Dan)
Have you had a fight with a lion before?
KANE
(quietly)
There's no hope of survival if we attempt to fight this thing, captain.
DERICK
(quietly to all)
Hey, don't lose hope. While we still have life in us, we must do our best to survive. Now, here's the plan. We'll push the boat into the water and get out of here.
KANE
(quietly to Derick)
How are we going to do that?
DERICK
(quietly)
Right now, the creature hasn't noticed our presence. It's moving unto the land, so we'll quietly push the boat into the water, once my hands get on the wheel it's home.
KANE
(quietly)
Can we do that?
DAN
(quietly)
What if it sees and attacks us?
DERICK
(quietly)
We fight.
(removes two pistols from his waist, gives one to Josh and gives the other one to Kane. He removes a dagger from his waist and gives it to Jabesh)
JABESH
(quietly)
I'm the only one without a gun here.
JOSH
(quietly)
Do you know how to handle one?
JABESH
(quietly)
What?
KANE
(quietly)
Don't worry, we got your back.
JABESH
(quietly)
You?
KANE
(sees a grenade on Derick)
Come on, captain, let's blast this creature with this.
(points at the grenade)
DERICK
Shhhhhh!
(quietly)
No, that's if something gets worse.
BAM! The boat shakes and they all become alerted.
The creature hits the boat again; BAM!
{INT. CABIN, TRAWLER}
Papu shivers, covers his full body with the coat on him and continues to peep through the tiny hole.
{EXT. SHORE}
DERICK
(quietly)
My son is up there.
(aims the rifle into the sky)
Hey guys, I'm going to distract this thing first, then we kill it...
(suddenly, the beast is standing behind them at one end of the boat. He sees the beast)
God damn it! Run!
