The beast quickly moves, catches and pierces Jabesh, others run away. It grasps Jabesh, tears him into pieces, drinks his blood and chews the flesh very fast.
Suddenly, BANG! BANG! BANG! Three bullets hit on the back of the creature. The creature roars and faces the direction, which the bullets came from.
DERICK
(pointing his rifle at the creature) You killed my boy, prepare to die!
(fires two SHOTS at the creature. The creature roars and runs very fast towards the island)
JOSH
(running towards the island) Help!
DERICK
Josh! Dan! Kane!
DAN
(comes out from the back of the boat)
I’m here,
(puts his left hand on his head while the rifle is in his right hand) O no… screw this journey, Jabesh is dead.
DERICK
(breaths heavily) God damn it!
(kicks the sands, walks to the remains of Jabesh, stares at it and nods. Dan shivers and squats. He looks at Dan)
Come on, we have to find others and leave here as soon as possible.
DAN
(stands)
What about Papu?
DERICK He’ll be safe up there, this thing is somewhat scared of guns.
Suddenly, the creature runs towards the boat and hits its head against the boat. Dan and Derick run out of the way to a distance.
The boat rolls into the river. The creature slaps the boat and the energy from it keep pushing the boat into the water.
Dan and Derick start shooting sporadically at the creature. The creature groans and once again runs towards the island in another direction.
{ISLAND}
KANE
(squats behind a huge rock with his eyes closed)
Get away from me, get away from me, don’t eat me, don’t eat me, don’t eat me, please, don’t eat me…
(Unknowingly to him, there are three little babies of the beast at the other side of the rock)
{SHORE}
DAN
(to Derick)
The boat is in the water now. Let’s get the boys and get out of here.
DERICK
That thing will come back here again. As far as I know, it ate one of us near the boat, it will come to the boat again.
DAN
Are we going to leave others behind?
DERICK
No, we’re going to kill it once it comes again, then get the boys and get out of here.
DAN
That sounds great but how are we going to kill this thing when bullets aren’t doing anything to it?
DERICK
