--FORWARD- 2 MONTHS LATER--

[she's out of breath panting as she's just come from one of her photoshoots and into the boys' set ]

A: omg omg omg I'm so sorry I'm late I—

JM: this is like what, the 12th time now Liyah?

A: i know.. i'm so sorry i didn't mean to be.. I just—

Jimin starts laughing and goes over to hug her,

JM: i'm kidding! who cares? As long as you get here gongju, it's fine with us

SG: what do you mean who cares? in every professional job there's something called being Punctual. You should learn how to be it if you want to stay here.

JM: ignore him. It's no big deal. There's plenty of us here who can help!

SG: Watch, now that she's got a name for herself and much more money, she'll leave and forget we even existed.

V: hyung, stop.

J: Yoongi-ah .. would you cut the girl some slack for once? jesus.

SG: I'm just being real here! I mean it's already happening slowly.. I see it. She's barely here and once she is, it's for the last few hours and—

JH: she's only human. Leave her alone!

Jungkook takes his earphones off and turns to Liya, silently offering to put them in her ear. She gives him a small smile and shakes her head no but mouths a 'thank you'.

SG: YAH you're all just too soft for her! That's why she's been so spoiled! You all do nothing but encourage her behaviour!

Jin rolls his eyes,
J: you act like you're her father.

SG: and you don't?

J: well, better than you'd ever be!

RM: guys— 

Jhope walks over to Liya, putting his arm around her to lead her into another room to get away from them but Aliyah stays still, she doesn't want to move.

A: Yoongi hyung..

The boys turn to her in a bit of shock wondering what she's going to say next as she's never tried to respond to him after his insults before.

A: can i ask you something i've been meaning to ask you ever since i met you?

Even Suga himself couldn't hide the fact that he was surprised.

A: what have i ever done for you to hate me so much? What is it that you have against me? *her voice becomes shakey and her lips start to tremble*

JK: Aliyah... ?

SG: awww what, little miss perfect can't handle when one person doesn't worship her? Welcome to the real world princess! Not everyone is going to fall on their knees for you.

RM: please stop..

A: that's not what i want and it's not what i'm trying to say!!

J: shh Liya.. you don't have to explain yourself to him.

A: no but I want to! Hyung, I've shown you nothing but respect but ever since i got here, all you've ever done is give me shit—

SG: Wowww you guys see this? what did I tell you? You see what fame can do? She's changed. That's her ego talking.

A: what ego?! if anything it's just me learning how speak for myself.. YOU'RE the one with the ego!    

SG *scoffs* : Now that you're a big shot you think it's fine to talk to me like this now eh? Just a few months ago you would have been crying by now!

A: I have every right to because all you do is talk down to me! all you ever do is make me feel small and i'm sick of it! i'm tired of you treating me like this for no reason!

Jin sits beside Aliyah, with his arm around her for comfort; Jungkook sat behind her gently playing with the ends of her hair while Jimin held her hand. Jin wanted to protect her from Yoongi, as he had always seen her as mainly his responsibility but him and the boys thought that it was about time she expressed the frustration that she had bottled up inside.

A: all this time I chose to ignore you and let you say everything you wanted; I shrugged it off because I respect you; Because you always knew better; Because you're my big brother and i've learned to love you no matter how much you show me that you probably don't.

Suga turns in his seat to reach for his bucket hat behind him. He puts it on his head, crosses his arms and keeps his head down; letting her talk.

A: Everyone always told me that the way you were with me was just you and your 'tough love' and deep down, I always believed it and maybe with time you'd change...but at this very moment, hearing you say all those words to me.. you know what i think? I think it's just you being one big COLD-HEARTED, JER— 

[enter one of the stylist Noonas]

Noona: Liya? Manager Sejin wants to speak to you

Liya stares at the ground and Silence filled the air for those few seconds until Jungkook pats her back and Jin lightly squeezes her arm; signalling for her to go ahead. She nods to the Noona and gets up to follow her.

SG: hm, wow. Good for her for learning to stand up for herself. I'm proud of her.

JM: you're a jerk.

Manager Sejin: .....everybody has grown to love you here, including myself but we still have to keep in mind that despite all the fun and the family-like relationship you have with everyone—especially with the boys, at the end of the day, this is your job and you have to stay professional.. even if your 7 true bosses tell you that it's okay. I know no one has told you this because they try to protect your feelings but when you're not here, it causes conflict on who's left to do what.. considering the fact that I've heard and personally seen that you do most of the work in that department.

In other words, I'm sorry but you're going to have to choose between one job or the other since clearly it's not working out with you trying to balance the two..

And Liya.. I really hate to say this and break this to you but any more lates or absences means we're going to have to let you go. We can't keep shrugging it off anymore.

[ Aliyah comes out of Sejin's office and back into the room with everyone else to get her bag. The boys were loud as they were scolding Suga about the argument the two just had. Once they saw her, the boys went quiet. RM, V and Jhope rush to ask if everything was alright. She nodded and looked right at Suga with her watery eyes; forcing a smile, ]

A: today's your lucky day hyungie, they want me out of here and

i hope you're happy.

—NEXT DAY--

[a phone call is received at the BigHit Reception office]

"Hello, you've reached BigHit Entertainment, this is Suyeong speaking—

"that girl you people call Aliyah Kiyomi? Let me speak to her."

"I'm sorry ma'am I'm afraid I can't do that. For obvious privacy reasons."

"what privacy? I have a right. I'm her mother!!"
