Chapter 3

A/N: I hope this is good so far I plan on having Isabel's meetings talking to her father soon but I didn't want it to be super soon but I knew it would be within the first few chapters.  we are also going to skip school bc I have found writing that is boring and it just drags on so she is on another day with the internship woohoo! Okay enjoy

Isabel's POV

I sighed getting up and ready for my day and another day of my internship with Dr. Banner hoping it wouldn't be so weird when I got there. I ran outside to my ride so they wouldn't be late for school, I got out of the car and said bye before walking in and saying Hi to Happy as I walked by and said I was okay to go to the Lab and I remembered where it was.  I made my way to the lab when I came across Chris and his Dad who happened to look up when Chris stopped talking because he saw me.

" hey, what are you doing here? Did you two finally make up? Finally!" he said with a smile I laughed " No, I'm here for an internship with Dr. Banner and that is the only reason." I said with a. stern face at the end. Chris frowned and sighed " Izzy when are you guys going to fix things?" He asked me.  I shook my head " Nope not happening, we did this remember, and look where that got me I'm back to hurting and wishing I could punch his face without having to worry about Iron man and the other avengers coming after me for punching him!"I said to him with a sigh at the end.

Chris nodded " okay fine, but you can punch his. I will hold him and you punch and the fix things and boom we are all happy and everything is right with the world." Chris said with a smile, which made me smile as well and laugh a bit " No, I don't need Iron man coming after me because I punched his kid, even if I have a valid reason. I have to go or I will be late for my sign-in we can talk later okay?" I said to him. I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before walking off to the lab to sign in for the day. 

" Good Morning Dr. Banner," I said once I entered the lab I didn't get a response just a look I sighed and went to my station and pulled my notebook out to work on formulas. I worked quietly for about an hour when Mr. Strak came in to see Dr. Banner both ignoring me I sighed and continued working. I finished what I was working on " Omg" I said out loud not knowing I did so. I stepped back looking down at my notebook. " Oh my god, I did it!" I said with a squeal when I heard someone walk behind me I quickly turned with a smile on my face.

" I did it, I finally did it I made the right formula to try and I actually did it!" I said to Ryan who was behind me with a smile. He stood there shocked but with a smile. I squealed and hugged him " Do you know what this means? This is amazing no one In their right mind could have thought of this! This is something beyond the years and I did it!" I said with a smile.

" uh, Izzy? who are you testing it on?" Ryan asked me neither of us cares about the other two people in the room I turned to face him " Me, silly if either of you did try it would kill you." I said to him getting a vile and pouring the liquid in it and sealing it tightly.  I started to put things away when my arm was grabbed " Izzy, that could kill you." Ryan said to me with a serious face I looked at him and shrugged. 

"Izzy! You can't be serious! you have no idea if this will work and it could and probably kill you and all you do is shrug?" Ryan yelled at me I sighed getting my bag and turning to face him. " So what if it does? Ryan, I'm being kicked out of my home with nowhere to go! My parents are dead and my boyfriend broke up with me for his hoe! What do I have to live for?" I asked him he looked at me " Your family Izzy, Us! we are your family." he said in a stern tone, I shook my head " No, I'm not. None of your parents like me even if they don't know me and yes you guys are my friend's best friends even, But you have your families." I said to him

I started to walk away when I was stoped " You have Riley, You have Gorge, the others," he said I turned with a sigh " You have Riley, your mom, and Dad. Gorge has his dad and sister, Chris has his dad and Mr. Barns. Jackson and Jason have their dads and Cyrus has his mom and dad. You all have your families" I said to him. He went to say something but I stopped him before he could " Look I know what you're doing and I appreciate it but it's my choice and I get to make it and if you say you're my friend you respect it." I said once more before walking out of the lab.
