3rd Person POV
The next morning Dipper was standing in front of the church with a suitcase in hand. Ford was standing next to him and they were both waiting.
Mabel also wanted to be there to say goodbye but Ford had not allowed her since he thought she would do something to make Bill not want to tutor Dipper.
"Why is he taking so long?" Ford muttered as he stared at his pocket watch.
"Welp I knew this was a scam." Dipper said as he turned around and started walking towards the house. "Let's head ba-"
"Not so fast." Ford said as he grabbed Dipper's arm. "And here he comes."
From the forest emerged a black carriage with golden outlining. Two black horses were attached to the beautiful and expensive looking carriage as it stopped right in front of the two Pines.
The doors opened and Bill elegantly stepped out from the transport.
"Sorry I am late." Bill apologized as he stood in front of Dipper.
"We are just glad you are here." Ford smiled.
"Are you ready then Mason?" Bill turned to Dipper who glared at the demon.
Dipper was a bit surprised that Bill used his real name, not only because the demon always referred to him as 'Pinetree' but also because Dipper hadn't told Bill his real name.
Dipper then entered the carriage.
Bill said his goodbyes with Ford and sat down next to Dipper as they took off.
The first few minutes both the males were silent before Dipper spoke up, "Why a carriage?"
"Huh?" Bill stopped looking out from the window and faced Dipper.
"Can't you just teleport or something? Why so fancy?" Dipper said as he looked around the carriage. He must admit it looked pretty cool.
"I need to impress that great uncle of yours, so I can get to you." Bill said and placed a hand on Dipper's lap.
"Suck up." Dipper muttered.
"What?"
"I called you a suck up." Dipper said a bit louder and didn't move his gaze from the window.
"Oh really? Guess what you sucked up on just a few days ago Mason~" Bill leaned in and whispered in Dipper's ear who blushed.
"D-Don't call me that." Dipper muttered.
"Don't call you what?" Bill questioned.
"Mason. I don't like that name." Dipper said.
"Pinetree it is then." Bill simply said.
Soon they arrived in front of a big mansion in the middle of the woods. As soon as Dipper stepped out from the carriage, the transport disappeared with a small poof.
Dipper just stared dumbfounded at the big manor in front of him. The thing was at least three times bigger than the whole church!
And don't even get me started on the big well kept garden decorated with different flowers and fountains.
Dipper wondered why Bill needed such a big house when in reality Dipper and Bill were the only ones who were going to be living there.
"How did you-... Where did this manor even come from?" Dipper questioned.
"Hmm, let's just say I have my way of getting what I want." Bill simply said. "Anyways, make yourself at home since you won't be leaving this house without my permission."
