3rd Person POV

"Where are you taking me, Gideon?" Mabel asked as the smaller boy dragged her through the woods.

"I found a really cool place." Gideon gave a small explanation.

"Okay, what has that to do with me?"

"I want to show you."

They proceeded to walk closer and closer to what seemed the lake that was connected to the waterfall.

It was actually really beautiful and Mabel hadn't been in this part of the forest in a while. When Mabel stared at the waterfall in awe Gideon smiled satisfied to himself.

"I also think there is a cave behind the waterfall," Gideon said.

"Really?" Mabel asked.

"Yeah, I was thinking we could go see it,"

"But are your parents okay with you being away from home for that long?"

Gideon frowned at Mabel's question and crossed his arms. "My parents don't decide what I can and can't do," He said.

"Isn't that like, parents' whole job? To tell you what you can and can't do?" Mabel pointed out.

Before Gideon could answer, they both suddenly heard laughter from the distance. They turned around to realize the laughter was coming from further down the lake.

"Wonder who that is?" Mabel seemed to want to investigate the laughter.

"Can't we just stay here?" Gideon whined. He on the other hand didn't really care much about some random laughter.

"No, let's go see who that is!" Mabel grabbed Gideon's arm and started dragging the smaller boy with her.

"But aren't we going to see if there's a cave behind the waterfall?"

"We can do that after we meet the people, maybe they can even join us. Won't that be fun?"

"No," Gideon grumbled. "I couldn't care less about those laughing people or whatever. They are probably doing something lame anyways."

"Stop being so negative Gideon, that's why you don't have any friends." Mabel muttered the last part but Gideon still seemed to have heard her.

"Hey!" He protested.

Even though the laughter had died out, Gideon and Mabel had gotten close enough to see two figures in the water. Within only a few steps they would be able to see whoever also had decided to go on a walk by the river today.

"Dipper?" Mabel called out as they stepped forward to see Bill and Dipper.

Gideon's eyes immediately widened and he froze in fear as he just stared at the demon.

"What are you...?" Mabel also seemed to have noticed the position the two were in. Bill had his arms wrapped around Dipper, while the brunette had his legs wrapped around Bill's torso. They were both really close too.

Dipper snapped out of his shock and quickly pushed Bill away, leaving both of them just standing there with around a meter distance between each other, still in the lake.

"W-We were just umm," Dipper tried finding the words. "Well uhh..."

"H-H-HE IS DROWNING HIM!" Gideon screamed as he pointed at Bill with a shaky finger.

"What?" Mabel, Dipper and Bill said as the same time, all very confused at Gideon's weird statement.

Gideon, still shaking and on the verge of tears, grabbed Mabel by the hand and started pulling her away, but Mabel wouldn't budge.
