I woke up the next morning, my back painful for reasons that I didn't know.
After untangling from Cameron, who was still sound asleep, I found my legs bringing me to the bathroom to freshen up.
After brushing my teeth and singing in the shower, I realized something.
I didn't bring my clothes to the bathroom. I know Cameron's my boyfriend and all, but I was still shy.
"He must be still asleep." I tried convincing myself, before I wrapped a fresh blue towel around my body.
As I walked out of the bathroom, trying not be so loud, I found myself opening my cupboards.
I had done a mistake though. I didn't realize that Cameron was out of bed and gaping at me with his jaw dropped.
I turned around after hearing footsteps and tightened my hold on the towel.
I found him checking me out, before saying, "Wow Thompson, you're so beautiful."
I blushed, but didn't say anything. I took some new pair of clothes, before I realized I was blocked by Cameron. I didn't have any way out.
He removed a strand of hair away from my face with his hand, and kissed me all around my face. My eyes were closed so I was not aware of the outside world.
The door creaked open to reveal Maria, who had just come to my house.
"Sienn, why's your----Sorry to interrupt." She said, then left, giggling.
What Cameron hadn't realized was that when he wasn't looking, I slid away from his hold, and now I am on my way to the bathroom. I feel so heroic for an unknown reason.
After I changed, I opened the door to reveal an empty room, then hands suddenly covered my eyes, leading me down a flight of stairs.
"Cameron let me go." I spoke, when I realized that it was him.
He had apparently brought me to the backyard again, where there was now a doghouse, that I hadn't seen yesterday.
"You were awake when I went to take a shower, weren't you?" I asked him accusingly.
"Yes, and this was done." He gestured to the doghouse that he had set up.
"Thank you babe." I said. He smirked, kissing me on the lips before making his way out of my house to his.

Two days had passed since my birthday and my school had been having a short break for the seniors to revise.
I took these days to study but now I had already completed a whole math exercise.
Tommy came running in to my room, wagging his tail with swag, desperately needing a bath. He barked showing that my thoughts were true. I chuckled, before taking out all the required items for bathing him.
After I was done, he went back to his doghouse, being a lazy dog, he slept soundly after I petted him. I walked back to my room, sitting on my bed, admiring the jar that Cameron had given me so sweetly.
"When your legs don't work like they used to before--." I was singing to one of the sweetest songs' ever, but I was then disturbed by the sound of a door being slammed, causing a loud vibration from downstairs.
"Who is it?" I yelled to make sure.
"Honey, please come downstairs now." My father's voice was heard from downstairs. I shrugged and headed down.
When I got downstairs, I took in the sight of my mother who had red eyes, cheeks red from anger and sadness too. I handed her a glass of water, but slowly so that she wouldn't snap.
Mom being this furious was scaring me. She was mostly a joyful businesswoman, but I had a feeling that something terrible had happened.
"What's wrong Mom?" I asked her softly.
My mother looked like she did not want to speak. Neither did Dad. So why did they call me downstairs when they were so unwilling to talk?
Then Nick, who I hadn't realized was home, came to me running and crying. He looked so upset and I didn't like seeing him so sad.
I kneeled down to his level. "What's wrong?" I was so afraid of his answers.
"Mom said that we cannot meet......" He spoke, but hiccups left his mouth as he cried.
"Meet whom?"
"She said we are" *hiccup* not allowed to *hiccup* meet *cry* the Hamshaws' anymore.
I don't know what led me to do it, but I burst out laughing. "You guys are so funny. " I told them.
"Why would we joke?" Mom's voice was hoarse, as if she had cried her eyes out.
Nick said, "Mommy took me home from school and told me that I am not supposed to meet Sam anymore." He looked more upset than the time he lost his favourite toy when he was young. This was serious.
My heart broke as I repeated my mother's words in my head. I felt like my head was being filled up with voices and voices and voices and I was so dizzy.
"Sienna are you alright?" Cameron came running from the open house door.
I stood up, and the rest of my family members did too. My mom's eyes shone with anger.
"Get out!" She said harshly, causing all of us to wince.
"But why? Mrs. Thompson, what happened between the two of you?" He asked, but before I could understand what he meant, she closed the door on his face, and tears rolled down my cheeks as I saw his defeated look on his face.
My heart broke into small pieces when my mother did that. It was as if she was throwing away my greatest source of happiness.
More tears rolled down my eyes, and soon Nick joined me.
"Why can't we meet them mother?" I said, my rate of annoyance now increasing.
She was surprised at my sudden change of attitude.
"It's a long story." She just said, expecting me to let the topic go. But I would not. I was stubborn and I was determined that her reasons wouldn't make me lose trust in Cameron. Or would it?
"I have time."
