(Sienna and Cameron are 28 years old)
At a young age of 23, Cameron and I decided it would be right to get married and hence we did so. A few years after graduation, Cameron and I split ways due to different universities and other misunderstandings along the way, but as usual, Maria, James, Andrew, Brian, and Landon got us both back together when we had a reunion.
Fast-forward a few five years, Maria and James are soon to be married in two months. James was first married to Arabella, who passed away in a terrible car accident just 5 months after giving birth to their daughter. His heart was horribly broken, but Maria was there to console him the most. They fell in love with each other's personalities, therefore also with each other.
Andrew and Brian decided to move in together and would soon get married on the same day as Maria and James, that too with the consent of their enthusiastic parents. Landon is recently dating Amanda. They sort of have an on and off relationship which is so unpredictable when they break up and when they get back together. I just wish they would finally become mature enough to admit their love for each other.
"Mommy, I told you I want a red velvet cupcake not strawberry cupcake." Kids and their demands these days. Logan broke my chain of thoughts as he approached me with his strawberry cupcake and his face had a pout on. I forgot to mention the point where I had four-year-old fraternal twins, Lindy and Logan, who were born premature, but after a few months of being in the incubator, they both were as healthy as they should have been.
"Mommy, I want a new doll please." Lindy approached me from the kitchen with her two cute pigtails bouncing. Lindy and Logan were carbon copies of Cameron, although Logan has dark brown hair and Lindy's hair was of a brunette shade.
They both soon continued to demand for different things, as they usually did. However, as soon as a certain someone came, they stopped.
"Kids, stop troubling your mother. She has to finish her work." Cameron's laugh filled the whole house as the kids jumped on him literally.
"Daddy!!" They screamed happily.
"Daddy wants to go meet his wife now kids." He said, while I was pretending to be angry with him.
"I don't want to meet you though. Who told you to become a doctor? Every time there's an emergency, you leave us all behind." I crossed my arms and laid them on my chest.
His arms were quick to wrap around my waist, to which the kids giggled and exited the living room.
He turned me around, and gently tucked my hair behind my ear and whispered huskily, "Being a doctor has a lot of perks, I can teach you a ton of things." What he said left me blushing and after that I said, "I thought I was the teacher here." Then, his lips tenderly grazed mine as he allowed our tongues to intertwine and that was all it took to leave me stunned at his sudden behavior change.
After he was done, I slapped his chest.
"Oww, what was that for?" He asked.
"Don't you remember what day it is today?" I inquired, tempted to hit him at the back of his head if he had forgotten. I was about to wish him first, but decided to see if he could remember by himself.
I stepped intimidatingly closer to him, to which he took a step backwards, and this continued till he was stuck since a wall was behind him.
"It's Friday right?" He looked nervous.
I frowned, how could he have forgotten that it's our anniversary of five years of marriage? I guess I was not as important to him as I thought I was.
Should I remind him? Nope. There's no need if he doesn't care.
I went to the kitchen, where I usually cooked to let my sorrows out. If I was stressed or upset about something, I would start baking cakes. I learnt to cook properly before graduating, so I could proudly say that my cakes were pretty good.
The whole time I was in the kitchen, Cameron had not once asked me if I was alright. That was fine with me, but I just really wanted us to have this special day for ourselves, where we could bond more as husband and wife.

"How much longer will it take Lindy and Logan? I am so curious you both." I said sincerely as my children, who had wrapped a blindfold around my eyes, dragged me by my hands along with them to a "safe" location, as they said.
"Now kids!" I heard Cameron shout and then I was left in our dark room, with every light out. Nothing was visible, however the discrete sound of whispering was still heard to me before a door was locked.
"Sienna Hamshaw, where do I even begin? That wonderful personality of yours, or that beautiful smile that gets me weak to my knees? Just a tear on your face gets me thinking if I am worthy enough to get such a fantastic person in my life. I would be angry at myself if I make you upset. Anything and everything that I do is incomplete without you there. My life is incomplete without you. So, do you think you can forgive me for not wishing you sooner?" Then I felt Cameron's breath on my nose. "Happy Anniversary Mrs. Hamshaw, I know you and I will last forever." Those were the words he said to me before the lights in our big balcony switched on, and a wonderful table for two was set, where Cameron was holding a red rose, and a smile was present on his face. "I never forgot." He spoke.
He was wearing a swoon-worthy tuxedo and then I looked at myself, I still had my apron on which was full of flour.
"I'm flattered Cam. I love you so much." I genuinely said, then continued, "Look at you and look at me, I'm underdressed."
"Does it really matter? Whatever you wear, I love you for being you Sienna, and that's all that will ever matter to both of us."
"Can you check my pulse rate Doctor Cameron Hamshaw, because I think it's speeding up at an indescribable rate?"
He laughed, as I ran to him giving him a wide hug, where we both stayed for a long time. I even forgot that I still had my flour-filled apron on.
"Good thing this tuxedo is not new." Cameron commented.
