Brian's house was extremely outstanding. Outstanding could not even describe his house. Brian, Maria, and I were now standing outside Brian's house. Brian's security guard allowed his car in, and we were now entering his huge house.
I walked in, and my jaw dropped to the ground, as I saw how gorgeous and fancy everything was inside. It was as good as the outside. I'm not a person to judge a book by its cover, but I had already figured out that the moment I walked into his house, everything would be so formal and beautiful.
Brian chuckled when he saw Maria and I looking around his house with awe. "Yeah, I was adopted by a rich family." He said, as if it were the most obvious thing on earth. We all knew that Brian Haynes was adopted, but nobody spoke of it, because Brian's parents loved him a lot.
"I'm not sad about it or anything. I am extremely blessed to get such a wonderful family, and I love them more than I love myself or anyone." At the mention of love, my curious mind was beginning to think all over again, about who his crush was.
Then suddenly, a phone rang and played the song, "Wannabe" by Spice Girls. Before any more of the song could play, I picked up the phone, already knowing who was calling.
"Sup Thompson?" He asked me, and let out a sigh. I looked to my left to see that Maria and Brian were already engaged in a conversation about how everything in the house was so fancy.
"Nothing much. You?" I asked him, as I unknowingly went to see the photo frames on the right side of the house.
"Nothing too. Just sorta missing my friend. Is it wrong?" He spoke, and his voice was filled with amusement.
"Well, there's nothing wrong with it. But seriously, why did you call?" I honestly asked him.
"I know that Brian is an infamous player in our school, so I was just calling you to make sure that he doesn't do anything. I'm sure though, that he treats you guys nicely. Just, I...." He sighed, and I could see him trying to think of something to say. "I can't help but worry about you."
I rolled my eyes, and I told him, "He is such a nice guy. Don't worry about us. Thanks for calling though. You're such a good friend."
He laughed at that and said, "But I miss our movie afternoon. Even yesterday, we couldn't hang out at all. Although, next time, you won't be hitting the pillow on me again and starting a pillow fight right?"
"I won't do such a thing, weirdo."
"Good, cause you're making me more exhausted than going to gym." He chuckled.
"Hamshaw, I need to go now. I have to attend to Mar and Bri."
"Attend? Wow, youre trying really hard to be the English teacher's pet, huh good girl? Using fancy words and all." I could hear him stirring in his bed.
"Shut up and have a good day." I ended the call and shook my head, before softly chuckling.
"Shall we go, guys?" Brian asked us, after five minutes of showing us around the house.
"Yes, sure. But to where?" Maria inquired, and I rolled my eyes at the dumbass, and dragged her to where Brian was about to take us, his bedroom.
"Well, this is my room...." He said, upon reaching the door that led to the boy's room, where all his secrets were kept, and where everything was going to be intense now.
"Wow, it's...." Maria began, but couldn't complete her sentence, at the sight that was her ex crush's room.
"Alluring." I finished for her. In front of Maria, Brian, and I, stood a large room that had a king size bed (obviously), an attached bathroom, a huge desk in the side of the room, near the large door that must've led to another room or probably a closet, and most importantly, there was a huge balcony. I walked over to the balcony and saw the beautiful view of most of the city underneath my eyes.
