The next morning you did research on the current active serial killer and their victims. The more you searched, the more horrified you got. Now that you knew what you were looking for and were paying attention properly, you could see that Taehyung was right. Once the connection had been made in your mind, you shoved the laptop away from you as if it had burnt you.

A mixture of intense emotions ran through you, ranging from confusion to depressed to utter disgust. Everything seemed like a haze, as if it wasn't really happening to you. You couldn't fathom the idea that you were living under the same roof as someone so similar to Taehyung. The fact that the person you had trusted everything with the past few years could be like the very thing you were trying to escape made you feel so betrayed, so lied to.

You knew you couldn't stay there without something slipping out. You knew that you needed to get away from Jungkook for your safety along with anyone you could come into contact with. You mapped out a basic plan in your head to get you away from the nightmare you called home.

The very first thing you did was hand in your two weeks notice at work. If you twisted your words the right way, Jungkook would be more than willing to let you leave. So that's exactly what you did.

You walked up to him in his office and stood on he other side of his desk. He smiled up at you.

"Yes?" He asked.

"I, um, I want to hand in my two weeks notice..." You trailed off, too nervous to stand your ground properly.

"Why?" He sounded slightly panicked, as if he didn't want to let you out of his site. And he didn't, really.

"I think it's time for me to start being more independent. You can't protect me forever, Koo. I know Taehyung is out there now and I can find ways to avoid him easily. I just feel like this is the next step for me and I'm ready to take it." You sighed and smiled slightly to show that you truly did want to move on with your life.

"Of course. Only you can know when you're ready and you obviously do. Can we save the evenings for us once you've left at least? I don't want to lose you to work."

"Of course we can, Koo."

During the next week you studied Jungkook's schedule and made plans on what you would do and where you would go.

You had a childhood friend that had moved to Italy a while ago and you still kept in contact with her to this day. You messaged her and explained the very basics of the situation. She said that you could stay with her for as long as you needed until you got on your feet over there. You felt relief flow through you knowing you had somewhere to stay and someone you loved more than anything to keep you company.

Then you made sure to book a flight at a time where Jungkook would be at work. You needed time to pack beforehand and you needed to get to the flight early to get through customs. You booked a flight at a time that would ensure all of those requirements were met.

So far, Jungkook didn't seem suspicious of anything that you were doing. To him, you were just going about your everyday life and everything between the two of you was normal. He hadn't suspected a thing, or so you had thought.

The day of the flight came around faster than you had expected. The week had been full of you being anxious the entire time and feeling like tour heart was going to leap out of your chest. You were just happy that everything would be over soon.

Jungkook's schedule was running smoothly, meaning he was out the house exactly when you needed him to be. You packed your things and left for the airport with no hassle or interruptions whatsoever.

All that was left for you to do was to anxiously sit and wait in the airport for your flight to be called. The longer you were sat there, the more anxious you got. You were fiddling with your hands and bouncing your leg quickly in an attempt to distract yourself, which recieved many strange looks from people passing by. You couldn't really bring yourself to care much.

Finally, your flight was called and you rushed over as quickly as you could to get into the plane. You put your carry on above you and sat in your seat, buckling up the seatbelt in the hopes that it would somehow speed the flight up. Someone sat down next to you but you payed no attention to them, too stuck in your head to even think about interacting with others.

Everything was completely fine until the flight took off. You were looking out the window, watching as you left the ground. It was peaceful and a relief to know you were away from Jungkook. Well, it was peacefully until the person sat beside you spoke.

"You didn't tell me we were going on holiday. Italy sounds nice, sweetie."

You froze in horror and your eyes opened in shock. Panic flooded it's way through your body and tears built up in your eyes because there was no way that was who you thought it was. You slowly turned your head and tried your best not to cry loudly when you saw Jungkook sat next to you with a smile on his face.

"I didn't think you'd surprise me with a trip like this so suddenly. You're not the most spontaneous of people but this was such a wonderful surprise!" The excitement in his voice greatly contrasted with the pure fear you felt.

It was in that moment that you realised he wasn't going to go anywhere, it wouldn't be as easy as Taehyung. You began sobbing uncontrollably and Jungkook pulled you into his arms against your will. Everyone was staring at the both of you, probably annoyed about you making a scene.

"Sorry for disturbing you all. My girlfriend is a little scared of flying so she can get a little upset when we're in a plane. Please excuse us if we disturb you again, we'll try our best to keep quiet for the rest of the ride." He smiled sheepishly at everyone, putting on an act so perfect it was as if his entire life was a huge performance.

Everyone seemed to immediately feel guilty and started apologising for them assuming it was something either of you could control. An older lady even brought the two of you some snacks after Jungkook finally gave in.

"Awww, baby, don't be scared! It's just a plane, I'm sure the flight will go just fine." He spoke loudly enough that others would hear him and you knew he was making it so if you said anything no one on the flight would believe you. Who would ever believe the young, sweet, and handsome man could ever be capable of such things?

You ended up giving up and sobbing into him. You knew that whatever you would do he would find a way to keep you with him. He had been right, he was better than Taehyung. Not in the way of getting away with things, but he knew exactly how to keep you by his side. Now that he had you, he didn't plan on letting you go.
