As Al prepared to leave to Braeona, Zed came up to him. "Lord Al, allow me to join you in rescuing Lady Jerinah. I swore to protect the Lady with my life but I have been unable to secure her safety, even now..."

As Zed spoke with guilt in his tone, Al let out a small sigh. "It was my fault for being unable to protect the person I love from all dangers that came." He clenched his fists tight.

"Let's go save the lady."

Saying that he turned around and got on the horse and without any questions, Zed followed.

"Please be safe Jerinah!"

"Ugh. It's so boring in here."

Jerinah sat on the bed looking at the room that was decent enough for a guest to stay. 'I thought he'll lock me up in a dungeon and feed me stale food but it's quite surprising that they're feeding me good meals and this room to stay. It's weird.'

But I had to find a way out of this place. I didn't have time to waste. It was already the fourth day after Azlo gave me the pouch of dust. 'It would lose its powers in three days!' I slowly tried to open the knob on the door but it suddenly opened from the outside.

"Ah!"

"Ah!" I was startled when I saw a man in glasses standing in front of me. He looked as surprised as I was but he quickly regained his posture.

"Excuse me, Lady, I suppose you weren't trying to escape from this room?" he asked.

I gulped. "I was just looking at how nice the door was! I-is it made of teak or sal? Haha."

The man in glasses let out a sigh and turned around. "It is made of mahogany." He said. "Nevermind that, Lord Ijel called for you."

'Ijel? That dangerous man's name is Ijel? Why would he call for me so suddenly?'

The man led me to a room and opened the door. He left the room right as I entered and closed the door.

"Ah welcome, my lady." Ijel sat there with his legs crossed.

'This man definitely got only looks. He got no manners at all too! Also why on earth is he referring me as a guest?! I was freaking abducted!'

"Good afternoon." I didn't want to say more.

I was made to sit across him. I felt uneasy but surprisingly, Ijel seemed less dangerous than he did on the day I was brought to this place.

"How did are you sleeping? Are the meals alright?"

"What do you want from me?" I asked him directly. I had no time to be locked up in this place.

"Getting straight to the point are we?" he smirked.

I felt nervous remembering the look on his face on the day I was brought here. 'Don't forget, he is a dangerous person who abducted you!'

"I want to destroy Al Ascian."

The tone of his voice sent shivers down my spine. I was scared to death but I couldn't show that in front of this man.

"And why is that so?" I asked. I doubted he'd tell me but to my surprise, he told me the reason.

"Al Ascian. I shall never forgive him for what he has put me into today. He threw me out of my riches and glory that I had to leave to Braeona. Not only that, my engagement was nullified after my fiancée left me for that stone-faced son of the Duke!" He dramatically placed his hands on his face as he narrated his rather pitiful story.

'Stone faced? Is he referring to Al?' I looked at Ijel who seemed to be in a mess narrating his past story. 'I thought he was extremely dangerous, but looks like he only has a personal grudge towards Al for his misfortunes that he had to drag me into this mess by ABDUCTING ME! Ugh.'

"He must be coming here to rescue you but I have made enough time to make preparations so that he would have to kneel at me at the end." He started laughing hysterically.

'He seriously needs a check on his mental health too!' I had to escape this place as soon as I could. I didn't want Al to get into trouble.

"You aren't planning to escape aren't you?" I looked outside through the windows. 'There had to be a way to get out of this place.'

My body froze when he said exactly what I was thinking.

"And why would I ever think that?" I answered faking a smile.

I noticed him lower his head for some seconds when he lifted up, his sharp eyes looked directly at me. In a split second, he was right in front of me.

'How? How did he move so fast?!'

"I guess I can play with you until the stone-faced bastard finds this place." He whispered into my ears.

*Snap*

He snapped his fingers and the door locked from inside.

'Magic?! He's a sorcerer? I thought Azlo was the only one!'

Looking at my reaction, he simply said that it was a simple trick he learned and couldn't use complex sorcery.

"I used to be an important asset in the kingdom but after I was able to steal some useful information on sorcery and used it for my benefits, the Royal family turned their head away from me who favoured the Ascian. With some of the other fractions, I tried to destroy him but it had led me here."

'Why is he telling me this?' I thought keeping my guard up as he sat inches away from me.

"But this time," He placed his hand on my chin and turned my view towards him. "I will definitely destroy him."

I could see in his eyes that he was not just saying it.

He then suddenly pushed me down on the sofa. "Heh, you're actually really pretty. I wouldn't mind making you mine."

"Let me go you freak!" I shouted but he didn't budge.

He dipped his head and kissed my neck and down to my collarbone.

"Uhn!" I unintentionally let out my voice as I felt a tingling sensation.

"Heh." He smirked as he pulled up to see the reaction on my face.

'This is bad, how am I supposed to get out from his grip?! This man is definitely dangerous!' I tried to free myself out of the situation his grip was too strong.

*Crash*

At that moment, the glass panes on the windows shattered. Then a voice came

"Get your dirty hands off her!"
