"Get your dirty hands off her, Ijel!"
'That voice!'
"Al!" I cried out.
"Don't make me repeat myself bastard." Al growled.
"Heh, did you find trouble finding your way here?" Ijel appeared to be calm as he loosened his grip from my hands.
Al raised his sword at Ijel. "What were your intentions to kidnap Lady Jerinah?"
As Al faced Ijel, a hand grabbed my arm.
'!'
"Fear not, my lady."
It was Zed. I was surprised to see Al all alone, guess he wasn't.
"Forgive me, my lady. I was unable to prot-"
"What? It wasn't your fault at all! I was the one who brought this to myself! In fact, right now we have to get out from here!"
I turned to Al and Ijel.
"I provided the best place and meals for the lady's comfort." Ijel said in a carefree manner.
"Shut the crap! Tell me what you were planning!"
"Heh, fine. All I wanted was to destroy you and I found out through my spies that your greatest weakness is the lady herself. Bringing her here was quite easy than I thought it would be. Oh, and she got a pretty face and a nice body too."
Al was burning with rage as Ijel spoke.
"You will soon kneel before me Al Ascian!" Ijel said as he pulled out a sword.
My words were cut off by the sound of swords clashing.
"It's not safe, come this way, my lady."
"No, I can't leave!"
"But- Forgive me, my lady."
"Wha-?!"
Zed swiftly carried me in his arms and led me out of the scene.

'Heh, I will have to have a talk with the knight after all this.'
"I don't think you should be looking that way, during an important time as now!" Ijel came on to Al as he was caught off guard for a second.
Ijel's sword lightly grazed Al's face.
"You've been doing some work to be able to wield a sword like that eh?"
Ijel grit his teeth as Al spoke.
"That same old talk, full of pride!" Ijel kept swinging his sword as Al blocked them.
"You were the reason for all my miseries! The reason Adell left me! The reason everything is going wrong in my life! I will make you kneel before me and that lady shall be mine. What was her name? Ah~ Jerinah was it?"
"You can tell the world of your miseries and that I brought it to you, which you deserved. But don't you dare say Jerinah's name with that filthy mouth of yours."
Al's words intimidated Ijel as he stood there. But he was able to shake it off and kept attacking Al.
Al slowly began to feel the pressure from Ijel's attacks. Ijel's speed increased with each strike. Al figured that it must be because of the dark magic. 'How long has he been preparing to get this strong?'
Even though Al acknowledged that Ijel had grown stronger, he wasn't ready to lose.
He cut open a space in between them by swinging his sword. Ijel smirked as he saw Al getting exhausted.
