One week went by quickly; it was already the day I had to go to the royal palace to join the celebrations. The maids went on full swing to dress me up, head to toe. It was kind of weird being dressed up by someone else but I didn't dislike it either.

I couldn't believe at the reflection I saw in the mirror.

I wore a full-length dress covered with white gemstones at the top that went down to a soft lilac blue, lavishly designed with layers of swags and puffs and matching shoes that were just 2 inches tall. My hair was let loose, adorned by a crystal hair ornament on the side.

I never imagined I'd dress this way in my entire life. I had to say, I looked like I came out from a fairytale book.

I got on the carriage with my parents as we prepared to leave to the royal palace. The only modes of transport I've been on were on a horse and well, walking. Sitting in a carriage was a different feeling. It was weird for the first time but manageable. It took about thirty minutes to reach the palace.

I thought our mansion was huge; the palace was a different story. It was super huge!

There were different people all dressed up. Just how grand was this birthday party? I walked into the hall room and caught my breath, the room was extra huge. I felt so tiny, so insignificant at that moment. Chandeliers of crystals spiraled down from the ceiling, the women in the room sparkled like the crystals which wasn't at all noticed when we were outside. Everything was extravagant but this was a royal party, I should have seen it coming. We met the King and the Queen, I dropped into a curtsy just perfectly that I couldn't be more proud of myself.

The King looked nothing like the kings I've seen or read in our history books; well groomed, tall and fine facial features. Just why the hell was everyone here so good looking?! I glanced over to the Queen and what I saw shook my mind.

'Mother?!' I screamed to my own thoughts.

The Queen looked exactly like my mother from the real world. Why was she here? Maybe she was just another look alike in this world but out of all the people why was she the Queen? As I stood there, completely thunderstruck, I blinked my eyes hard and what came next blew my mind away. My father called the Queen 'sister'!

The Queen was a Celeste too? If this world was somehow connected to the real one, does that mean mom is a descendant of a Royal family?!

Lost in my own thoughts, hundreds of questions began crowding my mind. A familiar voice made me come back to reality.

"Jerinah, I'm so glad you came!" Juliette stood before me.

She wore a beautiful yellow dress beaded with crystals, on her head sat a tiara. She was the princess alright.

"You look beautiful, Your Royal Highness. Also Happy Birthday and congratulations." I said as I made a curtsy. I couldn't make the same mistake again; mother would give me another lecture on it when we got back home.

I saw that Juliette was red on her face.

"Y-you don't need to be so formal, Lady Jerinah." She said.

I didn't need to be formal but she addresses me using 'Lady', I thought to myself.

After addressing to the crowd and congratulating his daughter, the King danced with Juliette as a custom followed here.

Soon after, I talked to Juliette about what I had been doing over the past few weeks and how I learned how to ride a horse. It was a nice, peaceful time when I saw two faces just few steps away.

"Mr. Keilan?" I said in a voice that was audible enough for Juliette to hear.

"Mr. Keilan?" Juliette repeated as she turned around.
