"You excited for the 'All Valley Tournament' this weekend?" I said to Robby as ate his fries in front of me. Robby and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. I secretly always had a crush on him but he doesn't know, and I plan to keep it that way.

Looking up to me from his plate, his Hazel, Green eyes lit up at the question as a bright smile formed on his face. His dimples showing through as he nodded making my heart race.

"Yes! I can't wait. It's gonna be so good. Get to finally beat Cobra Kai," he said making me chuckle.

"I can't wait to watch you. I bet you're gonna do great," I said as I moved my hair out of my eyes before reaching for one of my own fries. As I put the food in my mouth, I felt Robby's eyes on me watching my every moment.

"Hey Y/N?" Robby asked, his voice deep and raspy making my attention go straight to him as I swallowed my food. "I need to tell you something. I....I lo-" he started before the diner door burst open with a loud thud. Jumping in my seat, I looked ahead at who it was. Screams were heard through the business as the man who threw open the door lifted a gun. My breathing got stuck in my throat as he looked around the room. Reaching for Robby's hand on the table, I didn't take my eyes off the man. His ice blue orbs pierced through everyone's soul in the room, practically sucking the life out of them. My hand held on tight with Robby's as my heart thudded in my chest over and over again.

"Robby, I'm scared," I whispered making him look to me as tears brimmed in my eyes. "I'm really scared," I whispered again, my voice shaking with every word. As he turned back to the man, he watched as he turned away to face the other side room before standing up. Sucking in a deep breath, I couldn't comprehend what I was watching. "Robby! No!" I tried to shouted but fear took over and it only came out as a quite whisper.

Sneaking up behind the man, Robby hit him from behind making him fall to floor. My body relaxed slightly as I thought Robby had sorted it. That was until an ear-deafening tone was heard through the restaurant making me and plenty of other people around scream. I prayed that it wasn't Robby who got hit but as the gunned man stood up and ran, my heart sank to my stomach.

"Robby!" I screamed this time as I stood up from my seat. Turning around to me, Robby's face drained from all its colour as his hands covered his stomach. Swaying side to side, my eyes locked with the blood before he fell to the floor. "No!" I screamed. Running over to him, the world went into slow motion as my foot hit the ground with every step I took. My hands grew shaky as I neared the boy. Collapsing on to the ground next to him, the tears rolled down my fair skin. Quickly taking off my jacket, I rolled it up and placed it on the gun shot wound. "Oh Robby," I whispered as my heart broke watching him. "Someone call an ambulance!" I screamed as I watched people scram for their phones. "Come on, Robby. Stay with me," I said to him as I tapped his face with my hand gently.

"I-it's okay...Y/N," he said with a struggled as I shook my head, some of my tears falling on to his clothes.

"No, no, no. It's not okay, Robby. I can't-I can't lose you," I said, applying more pressure on his wound.

"Y/N, I-I was going to tell...I was going to tell you that I-that I love you," he said quietly, his eyes closing slightly as the brightness started to drain from then. Looking to his mouth, my eyes caught attention of the blood that started to appear. The red colour tinted his teeth as his lips grew chapped and dry.

"I love you too, Robby. I always have," I said as a small smile found its way to my lips in all the chaos.

"That's-that's good," he said with a smile of his own as I chuckle lightly. Suddenly, my eyes perked at the sound of an ambulance on its way. Looking to Robby, I saw as his face held no expression, his eyes held no light, and his hand dropped from his stomach.

That was the day I lost him.

That was the day I lost Robby Keene.
