"Jesus Christ, I can't believe I'm back here again," I said to myself as I walked into the Detention Centre. Heading over to the reception desk, a smile was placed on my face as I saw Jenny typing away on her computer.

"It's lovely to see you again, Jen," I said as I rested my arms on the counter top. Looking up to me, Jenny sighed as she handed me my third yellow paper and Clipboard.

"Thought you said you weren't coming back the last time you were here?" She said making me chuckle.

"We all say things we don't mean, you should know that more than anyone," I said referring to her past that she told me about.

"Don't I just?" She responded making me chuckle again while taking my seat. Just as I started writing down my information, I looked up to see a new face, and an attractive one at that.

"You're new, aren't you?" I questioned making the boy look up and nod. "Well, my name's Paloma," I said reaching my hand out. Looking to my hand with a smile, the boy leaned forward and shook it, his touch sending my body through a thousand shivers.

"Nice to meet you, Paloma. My name's Robby," the boy replied making me release myself from his touch and sit back in my chair again.

"It's nice to meet you too," I said before watching the boy go back to filling out his form. "On the section about home life, just check off 'stable.' They don't care. They never come to check," I said to Robby before looking at my own sheet and filling it out. It was quite easy to do when you've done it a few times.

"Oh, right. Thanks," I heard Robby said and I filled in the last box. Heading over to the desk, I handed it back to Jenny when suddenly a man walked through the door.

"Ahh, just in time," Jenny said. "Paloma, this is your new probation officer, Henry," she added on as the tall, wide built man walked over.

"Nice to meet you, Paloma. Come with me," he said, taking me to his office where we talked about the same old shit.

"What did you do it?"

"Are you gonna change?"

"You can be a better person."

Blah, blah, blah. Thankfully, before I new it, our time was up and I was free to go.

"I'll see you soon," Henry called as I opened the door and left. Heading back to the reception area, I saw Robby still waiting. Chuckling, I stopped a few feet away from him and looked at him.

"They still haven't sent anyone for you?" I questioned making him chuckle.

"Oh, ahah, no, they have. I was just waiting for someone," his sweet voice said as his words pierced through my heart.

"Oh," I simply said, the hurt of not knowing if it was a girl or a boy. A sister a brother. A girlfriend or a boyfriend.

"But, now they're here," Robby said, standing from his seat and walking up to me. "We can go," he added on before quickly walking out of the door with his fingers intertwined with mine. Butterflies were sent out throughout my body as we ran out and down the street. "God, I am so glad to be out of that place. It really sucks the life out of you, doesn't it?" Robby said, his hand still with mine.

"Omg, don't even get me started," I said with a laugh making him join in.

"So, have you got anywhere you need to be," the boy questioned making me shake my head.
