After the Bamboo Forest, the Lion Guard still traveled and they eventually made it to a marshland. Once they did, Kion decided to go through it not to Timothy's surprise since it was important to get to the Tree of Life before it was too late. "C'mon! I want to get outta here before nightfall." Kion said to the Guard as he kept on walking in the marsh with the Guard behind him. "Kion, did we have to go through the marsh?" Fuli asked Kion after sighing and following him. "Yeah, even I have to agree with Fuli, Kion." Timothy said to Kion while following him with a disgusted expression. "Don't worry you two, I'm sure we'll be on the other side soon." Kion reassured while looking back at both Fuli and Timothy while still walking. "Right Anga?" Kion asked while looking up at Anga who was flying above the Lion Guard

"Yep. I can see the end of the marsh." Anga replied as she used her eyes to see the other side of the marsh. "The next moja kwa moja stone is just beyond that." Anga reported. "Ah, c'mon Fuli and Tim. This place isn't so bad." Bunga said while sitting on Beshte's back with Ono. "And the snails are great." Bunga added as he munched on a snail while crunching loudly, which caused Ono to sigh in annoyance. "Mmm. Extra crunchy." Bunga said while enjoying the snail he ate. "It's nice enough for you. You're not in the mud." Fuli said while shaking the mud off of her left forepaw.

"Yeah. Mud is so watery and messy, not to mention the bugs inside them." Timothy said but then covered his mouth knowing what he just said then looked up at Bunga with a nervous expression. "There's bugs in mud!" Bunga asked while jumping up to his feet in excitement while laughing. "I always thought mud was fun to mess around with, but now I love it! Zuka Zama!" Bunga shouted as he splashed in the mud, which splashed on both Fuli and Timothy as they grunted in annoyance while glaring at Bunga, who noticed after splashing in the mud millions of tiny bugs crawled around. "You were right Timothy, mud isn't so bad after all." Bunga said after laughing.

After that, both Fuli and Timothy shook the mud off of them then Fuli glared at Timothy which surprised him. "Way to go, Timothy." Fuli said sarcastically while rolling her eyes at him, which caused him to glare back at her. "Oh yeah, like I knew he was gonna jump and splash us with mud." Timothy replied to Fuli sarcastically, causing her to grunt frustratingly. "And besides, what can be much worse then that?" Timothy asked Fuli. "GET 'EM!" Some creature shouted followed by some other creatures yelling as soon as Timothy asked that question. "You had to ask, didn't you?" Fuli asked Timothy with a glare and baring her teeth at him. "Yeah, Fuli." Timothy replied sarcastically while rolling her eyes at her. "I asked that question and then used my magic to make the creatures yell... Oh on, wait. I CAN'T!" Timothy said sarcastically then shouted at Fuli while glaring at her. "Because my magic is useless now incase you've forgotten." Timothy added while still glaring at Fuli, who glared back at him. "Will you two STOP FIGHTING!" Samuel shouted at both Timothy and Fuli, which caused them both to flinch away from each other, while the creatures still yelled.
