Chapter 2

Bella's POV

I hear a girls voice as the guards proceed to open the heavy door. Tina's here yeah! I scream and hug her tightly. "It feels like forever since I saw you." She laughs at my hurt. "You saw me yesterday B but I love that you missed me so much, how are you doing girl still plagued by the nightmare?" I nod solemnly to her push back the tears that threaten to leave me.
After our classes we have violin practice. Tina places her case on the ground and we sit on my bed before our tutor arrives. She tells me that in two days time the Alpha of The Craw-Link Pack is coming to our pack to find out if his mate's here. The wheels in my head begin to turn, this could be my opportunity to escape, and Tina has promised to join me and help with the escape. I have a potion that will disguise both our scents, although a witch's scent isn't that appealing to a werewolf my pack know my scent so drinking the potion an hour before our escape will be enough time to get the hell out of dodge. Shit "but what if the Alpha is your mate Tina I can't take that chance from you, you deserve love." She shakes her head. "If he is my mate fate will give me another chance to find him, right now you need to be safe and staying in the same pack with the same man who killed our Luna is not an option understand." She firmly took my hand resting on the bed and squeezed it reassuringly. I don't want her to miss this opportunity but she's right she'll get another chance to be complete.

Our tutor arrives to teach us English Lit because it's only two and two tutoring there are no distractions so Tina and I are very good students. I used to go to a public school when I was younger but ever since the death of my mother my father forbad me to go to school and instead insisted I go to homeschooling. So here we are discussing pages from Charlotte Brontë's book Jane Eyre. After a good discussion we were told our exam tomorrow would be an hour and 45minutes long For first exam 2nd paper is and hour and 30minutes long, we would still have it in my room but Tina will have a desk in my bathroom so as no distractions. We've passed all our other exams I have three As and and a B so far this is our final exam. I always feel sick when I have an exam but strangely that's a good thing for me I always seem to pass I know I'm strange. After two hours in English our music teacher arrives and we play the instrumental to Bond Explosive with our violins.

Before Tina leaves to go home we chat on the plan to escape I tell her I need a newt so I ask her to go to the pet store and give her money. With the newt I'll be able to finally break the Lasso restraining me keeping me here. I pack most of my potions and spell books I keep my book of shadows hidden I'll need it for the release. With my powers I'm able to make a secret cove in my cell so the guards and my father know nothing of it. As far as my father is concerned I'm not a practicing witch my mother would help train me in secret as he wasn't even accepting of his mate using magic. "Bye B see you tomorrow for the exam can I come over earlier to give you the 'gift'?" "Yup sure I'll inform the guards see you tomorrow hun." I hug her goodbye. My nifty powers mean I can soundproof the room so we don't have to whisper every night I burn sage to keep anyone not in my room able to hear our conversations. I knock my door and a guard Sam an impassive looking guard he has no sense of humour. "Guard, Tina will arrive earlier tomorrow to prepare for our exam, please inform others." He nods as his reply I then turn away and go to the bathroom to do my business, I wash my hands now I'm bored, I go over my English lit coursework and notes. After two hours of study the guards bring in my dinner. I have cottage pie I don't need to eat as much as a werewolf I can't exercise so my meals are always weighed so I don't gain weight. I have a slim figure Tina is more muscular but then again she's trained in combat as well as being a werewolf. Tina has a more tanned complexion, because I'm always stuck in a darkish room with no natural light, I'm very fair in my complexion. I love my hair it reminds me of my mother's, infact I love the fact that I look like her it's like she's still with me.

After dinner I play my violin again till my fingers and arms ache, then pack it away. Cosa beia leme. My chant to open my witch lair. I pack more of my ingredients then I pack most of my crystals I take out my black Tourmaline rough crystal necklace it's for protection I want to give it to Tina. After we break out of here she'll be a rogue and could get into trouble even though we'll be together her wolf needs to come out and hunt, we could get separated it will protect her without me. It will also guide me to her like a beacon. I whisper lako sempara Lupa necosa. My forehead tiara glows gold using my magic. The chain reforms in my hands and returns to usual length, good so even if Tina shifts to Raquel the necklace will stay around her neck. I place it in a box. I know this is harder for Tina to leave unlike my father her parents love her so much. They understand why she's doing this but I want to give her as much time with them as I can and when we are safe and settled somewhere I will send for them.
After rummaging around a little more I brush my teeth and change into my snug PJs and get into bed for another restless sleep. Will I ever be able to sleep properly without my horrible nightmare watching me.
