"Darling, no need to lie to me," he touched my chin and lifted it so I can look at him.
"uh- yeah I'm not lying."
"Sure." he walks back to his seat like nothing even happened, like he didn't just pin me to the wall and touched my chin. he points to my desk to tell me to sit down, I walk over to the desk and take a seat. He starts typing on his computer like everything is back to normal. What the hell do I do now? "If you have any homework or classwork you can do it now." He says. Wha- he just read my mind. Okay but seriously, on his first day he gives me detention?
I take out my notebook and start writing a list of things I need to finish. Well, I need to finish my project that will be due in 2 weeks. I need to go shopping because I've run out of food at my dorm. You see, I wanna become an assistant to a big company, but I don't know which company I want yet. I live in Los Angeles, California and I don't even know what I want to do. I do believe in soulmates and I do want to meet the person who I will marry, have children with, and be happy with, but like people say "you're too young. Enjoy life while you can." But I can't, I never enjoyed it. The only reason why mom was sick was that she became an alcoholic when I was 15. I told her to stop but she never listens. I warned her, she never listened, she would yell at me if I did something wrong or tried to warn her about it again. I mean she wasn't as bad as other people can get when they get drunk, she can handle it, but she soon drank too much and got sick, then they also found out she had cancer, stage 4 cancer. I didn't have a younger sibling or older. I never visited the rest of my family because they were in my home country. I'm all by myself now. I had to become independent when my mom started drinking because I had a feeling she wouldn't stop and I was right.
"What you doing?" I hear him say, I look up but his not at his desk. "I'm right here." He whispers in my ear. I turn my head around to find him looking at my notes.
"Oh uh- I was just writing down things to do." I look back at my notes. I take a deep breath and try to forget about what happened in the past.
"Mmm do you have anything planned today?"
