A/n: sorry I haven't updated in a while, I haven't had any motivation to continue. But hopefully I'm back now.

Question: since Jeremy Renner is now in the story, some people wanted him as a second love interest, so, would you like him as a second love interest or not?

Recap:

Y/n got home to Britney and were starting to search for some jobs near Malibu, because y/n changed her mind about going to New York. Robert was contacting his old friend Renner because he found out that he was the principal at the school he was moving to in Malibu.

Present (Y/n Pov):

"So you won't be going to New York... because...?" Britney asked quietly.

"Because Downey will be going to Malibu. I thought I told you this," I tell her, sitting on the couch right next to her.

"Oh right. But what if you just convince him to stay, cause we can't find anything, it's been a week."

"I can't convince him to stay because he has to work at a school there. And a week of searching hasn't got you tired, has it?"

"No it hasn't, but I haven't found not one so far, so you know..."

"Yeah. I know, but hopefully it won't take us too long, also we have finals in 2 weeks and we need to start preparing. To be honest, College is just not it, I only go here because my parents always wanted me to."

"Y/n you should live your dream, not what they wish you to do."

"Well, why are you here?"

"I just want to have a degree because then I'll get my dream job."

"What is your dream job then?"

"To work at a big fashion company."

"I see, but I don't think you need a degree for that unless you maybe become a CEO."

"Well you never know really," she shrugs.

"Also, I can't believe I never asked this but, what happened to that guy, you know the one you went on a date with, what's his name," I put my hand on my face, rubbing it, trying to remember his name.

"I'm not sure who you're talking about."

"That guy, you were working on a project, do you remember?"

"Uh- oh yeah, that guy. Yeah his name is-"

"NOAH!" I snap my fingers, point at her, "that's his name."

"Yes that's the guy," she grabs my finger moving it out of her face.

"What happened to him?"

"Yeah we just went out once, we didn't go out anymore."

"Oh, why is that?" I say, getting interrupted by the doorbell. I raise a brow at her asking if she invited anyone, she shakes her head no, interesting. I walk over to the door, unlocking it and opening it.

"Robert?" I question.

"You guessed right. How'd you know? By my attractiveness or the fact that you don't know anyone else?"

"Excuse you? I do know other people."

"Who then?"

"...uh. Britney," I turn around, looking at her, she gives an awkward wave back at us.

"Right."

"Anyway, want to come in?"

"No y/n, I want to stand outside the door and talk to you, while you're inside."
