"So, you just wanted to take a walk with me?" Shuichi asks. "Yup!" I exclaim, "After all, why wouldn't I want to spend time with my favorite person?" "I don't know why you say things like that," Shuichi says, "I'm just the same as anyone here." If only he knew how wrong he was. I mean, there must be something special about him if he could make me fall in love with him so easily without even trying.

Maybe it's the fact that he's so pretty. Or maybe it's how he gets flustered so easily. Or maybe it's how shy he is. Either way, he is not just a normal person. "Anyways, come on!" I say grabbing his arm. We're on the second floor of the school. I pull him along with me.

"I don't really see why we're here," Shuichi says, "It's not like we haven't investigated this place top to bottom." I roll my eyes, "Just because we've been here before, it doesn't mean we can't have fun exploring. Besides, maybe I have a surprise for you!" "A surprise?" he asks. "Nope! That was totally a lie!" I laugh.

He sighs. "C'mon," I say, pulling him into a random classroom, "It'll be fun!" "I guess," he says, giving me an exasperated smile. "See!" I say, "Look at all the interesting scenery!" Shuichi looks around hesitantly. "Interesting... scenery?" he asks, "You mean... the desks?"

"No," I say, sighing, "I mean you, silly!" His face goes red with embarrassment, "Ah! Me?" He looks so cute my heart is practically beating out of my chest. "Yep!" I say, moving just a little bit closer.

Shuichi backs up a bit, his back hitting the wall. He looks absolutely flustered. I move right up next to him, standing on my tiptoes so I can look into his eyes. "Ah! Kokichi..."

My lips are a mere inch from his. He squeezes his eyes shut. "Kokichi? W-what are you doing?" he whispers. My heart is practically begging me to close the gap between us, and for a moment, I almost do, but I couldn't do that to Shuichi. Because... he doesn't love me. I know that.

I slowly back away from him, my heart beating like crazy. Shuichi looks at me for a second before averting his eyes. When he looks back at me, his expression is filled with... determination?

In one swift move, he leans back into me, closing the gap between us and crashing our lips together. I throw my arms around his neck leaning into the kiss. All that matters right now is him. Nothing else is real. It's just him and me.

But eventually, our lips part and he pulls away. His face is far redder than it was before. "I... uh- I really like- No, I love you, Kokichi," he looks at me with only love. I take a deep breath, "I love you too, Shuichi."

He smiles at me, "I've wanted to tell you that for a while." I blush, "So have I. I thought that you only thought of me as a friend." He takes my hand gently, "I could never think of you as just a friend, Kokichi. Actually... will you be my boyfriend?"

I smile. This is all I've ever wanted. "Yes. Of course," I say. He leans forward, his lips meeting mine yet again in a sweet kiss. I hear the door open, and I open my eyes, my lips parting from his. It's Tsumugi.

"Uh... Tsumugi?" Shuichi asks. "Huh? Oh, I didn't realize you two were... um... busy in here." Shuichi averts his eyes. "I guess I'll just leave you two to do... whatever you were doing." She backs out of the classroom, closing the door behind her.

"That was... unexpected," I say. "Yeah," Shuichi agrees, "Do you think she'll tell the others? It's not that I mind them knowing, but I think it'd be a bit awkward if she told everyone we were... um..."

"Making out in a classroom?" I finish. He laughs awkwardly, "Yeah."

"I don't really know, but I don't think she'll tell anyone. Besides, we have other things to do than worry about the others," I say, leaning in for another kiss.
