A/N: Update! I hope my English writing is improving.

Liam's POV

"And don't even think of trying something stupid. Our only objective is to see how close we can get to them without being seen or alerting them. We need to get back before nightfall so this shouldn't take all fucking day." Cornelius said annoyingly.

I wasn't planning on doing anything stupid, I might've thought of some things, but I still wasn't planning on actually doing any of them.

"Then what are we waiting for? Shouldn't we be heading towards the forest already?" I asked him confused as to why we were just standing in front of his main house.

"Why are you so fucking impatient? I'm thinking of a plan, just shift and follow me. Remember no funny buisness. Just my luck I get stuck with the impulsive one." He grumbled before shifting.

I followed his lead and shifted quickly. The faster we got this over with the closer we were to saving everyone. I had a bad feeling in my gut that came every time I thought of Kyle.

I hope it wasn't a bad omen and that he was safe, but I won't know until I go save him and see for myself. If they hurt him or even placed one finger on him I'd kill them all myself. He deserved the world and if they were torturing him I don't even know what I'd do.

Cornelius smacked me with his tail angrily, snapping me out of my thoughts and I shook it off and continued to follow him. Now wasn't the time to get on my head and think of unimaginable things, the faster I did what I needed to do the quicker he'll be back in my arms.

Diya waved bye to us from the porch them we took off cautiously into the forest.

The forest was filled with noise, from bugs to loud animals, so I think it's good that we can get lost in the noise. They wouldn't hear us get too close and hopefully we can find their hideout pretty fast.

After thirty minutes, I continued to follow quietly behind Cornelius's lion and suddenly he just stopped, making me crash into his ass.

I growled lowly then he flicked his tail and smacked me with it again. Fuck this asshole was really trying his luck but that's when I saw it.

A few hundred yards away from us, there stood a small makeshift village. I was glad that we were finally here but we were still kind of far away at the same time.

"Do you think we're within reach to mindlink Kyle or Caleb?" My wolf, Kamor, asked me and it was actually a pretty good idea.

"Caleb? Kyle? Can either of you hear me?" I called out within our links but I didn't get any responses.

Maybe if we were closer I could but the second I tried to go around Cornelius to inch closer he stopped me by placing his huge paw out. I know he didn't want me to get closer than we already were without a plan but it wasn't like we could communicate in this form. We didn't have any way to talk to each other, we could only do physical communication!

I rolled my eyes as he put his paw back down and tried squinting to get a better look at the village.

They placed their hideout in a good spot, nicely hidden away from tourists and deep into the forest where no real threats can bother them with their numbers.

We weren't sure if any of them patrolled this far out, which was why Cornelius was being overly cautious, but at the same time I kind of hoped that I saw one of those bastards.

I guess Cornelius could sense my anger but he didn't do anything about it. All he did was look at me before crouching low to the ground and getting closer to the village, so I followed his lead.

I hoped that I could get close enough to at least make contact with them through the links but even though we inched closer and closer to where they were being held, I couldn't make any connection.

"This isn't normal." My wolf chimed in and I couldn't agree more.

Our links usually worked for miles, especially with our mates after we marked them, and we were only a few yards away from them now but I couldn't reach my mate, or Caleb.

My blood started to run cold and my mind kept thinking of everything terrible.

"What if they did something to him?" My wolf said quietly and I growled lowly.

If something happened to him I would've felt it but then again I can't feel anything from him.

I got taken out of my thoughts by being smacked again in my face. I was thankful because it calmed me down but at the same time I'm like inches away from biting off this bastard's tail.

Even though my body wanted to stay glued to where we were or just go running towards the damn place, I forced myself to follow Cornelius back. I just needed to be patient.

Me barging in their might hurt him more than do any of them any good. I had to think. I can't just keep rushing in with strength, it'll just end up like last time. I didn't want to see him with all that blood on him again, I refused to.
