Chapter 3

Kyle's POV

   "Kyle you should head home." Alpha Trevor said to me while I placed some documents on his desk. His face was flushed and he was covering his nose, signaling that my pheromones were starting to release.

     "Yes Alpha." I sighed and crossed my arms. I hated getting my heat! Now I can't even work because my pheromones are too distracting.

    "You know I care about you, I just want you to make it home before your body gives out." He said while his nose was still covered up by his big hands.

    "Yeah yeah, I understand." I mumbled loud enough for him to hear me before I politely exited his office. 

     I walked down the hall quickly since we were inside the main pack house. A lot of the younger wolves lived here so if a pubescent teen caught a whiff of me I'd be in trouble.

     Especially the younger pack warriors. I don't understand how they can be so horny, it's like sex was all they thought about.

    "It smells nice." I heard a female say in one of the rooms I ran past. If my pheromones were already starting to spread through the house this fast that means I better shift and run home.

     "Such a sweet smell." I heard one of the younger males growl out and I headed straight out the front door.

      I took no time stripping off my clothes and shifting since I wanted nothing more than to lock myself in my room.

     "I thought you wanted to finally get marked." My wolf said before he huffed and placed our clothes into our mouth.

      "I'm still deciding!" I whined as soon as he started running to our house.

      I really have been craving the touch of my mates lately so maybe it was time for me to finally let them mark me? But I keep thinking of the "what if's"...

I still can't even imagine me being in this pack if I lost my beta position. Would I become just another member that resides here? Would Alpha Trevor replace me? Ha, who am I kidding! Of course he would! We need two betas to help run a pack this size so there's no way only Wayne can do it!

       Once our house was within our field of vision, my wolf looked around to make sure it was safe and no one was following us. You'd be surprised by how crazy some males get when they smell someone in heat.

I shifted back and ran the rest of the way home completely naked while carrying my clothes. It's not really a big deal to be naked since we all have to be before we shift but being naked and being is heat is just asking to be impregnated.

As soon as I got to the front door I swung it open, thankful it wasn't locked. I could sense that my mates were home and judging by how I heard a couple of things break, I can tell they were getting affected by my heat.

Instead of trying to talk to them, I walked straight to my room and locked the door. I slid the key underneath the door and dropped all my clothes down onto the floor. Now I know what some of you may be thinking, if I slid the key under the door wouldn't that give them the chance to open my door and come fuck me? Well the answer is yes but it's for their own safety.

         When I go into heat I start pleading for them to enter my room and sleep with me (if they're here because normally I kick them out of the house) and without a key I can't leave my room and try to seduce them. It's the perfect plan, well you know, unless one of them gives into the temptation and unlocks the door but it's all good! I trust them enough to know they'd never ever do that!

"So uh Kyle, we don't have to leave the house this time?" Liam asked me and my knees bucked, making me come crashing down onto the floor, still as naked as the day I was born. His voice was so full of lust and need that it sent chills all throughout my body.

"N-no you guys don't have to...I'm just still thinking about if I want to go through with this or not." I said as my body began to get hot. Soon my reasoning would fade away and I'd instantly want to give into pleasure, but now, while my consciousness is still somewhat here, I want to know if I want to risk everything I've built up for my mates and my own happiness.

"Okay. Don't rush yourself, we've waited this long ,having to wait for a few more heats won't change anything." James said and I could tell they were erect. Just their scents were enough to make me hard, and getting hard isn't helping me think rationally at all!

          "If you're so scared of getting pregnant why don't we just use condoms?" Seth asked and it actually made sense. Them using condoms would make most of my fears going away, but it wasn't fair to them. Marking me while using a condom wouldn't work as well but it would get the job done I guess.

         "You might not have to...just give me a few more minutes to think please..." I panted out as my fangs began to extend. My hot face must look so red right now from the heat coursing all throughout my body. I was basically shaking with pleasure and my ass was starting to get wet with the lube my body produced. I have no idea how or why my butt does that but it's the same way for omegas so I guess it's to help my mates get in easier? It was just super embarrassing to do and it felt so uncomfortable!!!

        As I kept going over the pros and cons of mating in my head, I came up with the answer...to let them mate me after all these years of them waiting, even though I know I may lose my position or get pregnant, I chose to be happy and maybe even raise a family with them....so I asked them to unlock the door.
