The school was putting on a production of Uptown Downtown. Mr Marty, the director, appointed Dominic and Ember as the choreographers, and Tori, Beck and Robbie played the leading roles. "Ready? Action!" Mr Marty yelled to everyone. Robbie and Tori were seen on stage when the lights came on. "I don't know." Tori shook her head, unsure. Robbie scoffed. "Oh, come on! Why can't you admit that you're in love with me?"
"Why are you in love with me?" Tori asked. Robbie looked into her eyes while answering. "Because you're beautiful. Look at your face in the moonlight." "I can't." Tori shook her head while looking away. Robbie disagreed with what the girl said. "You can." ''No, a person can't look at their own face. It's impossible." Tori explained. Robbie looked at her. "Then marry me, and I will buy you a thousand mirrors." "But that's so many." Tori gasped, shocked.
Robbie smiled slightly. "My father's a billionaire. I can give you everything you've ever wanted, and I'm good-looking." "Um, yeah," Tori shrugged, thinking. Robbie was getting annoyed. "Think." "And lights, go," Mr Marty instructed the lighting crew. As the lights went down on Tori's right, lights went up on her left, showing Beck. "I don't know. "Tori sighed.
Beck smiled softly at the girl.'' It's okay that you don't know." "But you deserve an answer," Tori told him sadly. Beck still held his soft smile."I can wait. For you, I would wait a thousand years." "But that's so many. "Tori gasped, shocked. Beck grabbed her hand. "I know I'm poor. I don't have much to offer, but I love you." "Because I'm beautiful?" Tori asked sadly, turning her head in the opposite direction. Beck turned her head back to face him. "I don't love you because you're beautiful. You are beautiful because I love you."
"Woah." Tori breathed out, amazed. Suddenly disco music started playing. Everyone looked up at Sinjin, annoyed. "What up with the disco?" Jade screamed. Ember grabbed her hand to calm her down. "I'm sorry I hit the wrong thing." Sinjin apologised as he tried to turn off the music. "No, fifteen years ago, your mother gave birth to the wrong thing!"Jade screamed in reply.
