I cleaned up and disposed of the doggy landmine and took Bennet downstairs. "C, can you take Bennet out for a walk please?" C was what my mom called me. "Sure, mom" I replied, grabbing Bennets leash. "Bennet, walk?" He looks up and runs over into my arms. I clip the collar around his neck and we head outside. Bennets little tail wiggles in the cool breeze. His floppy little ears take turns going up and down like a seesaw.  Bradly always sang to Bennet,  "do your ears hang low,  do they wobble to and fro, can you tye them in a knot,  or tye 'em in a bow".  I finally realized why. We walked around the entire block before reaching my front porch once again. I unleashed Bennet and opened the front door.  He sprinted Inside and slurped up some cold water. I locked the door behind me and hung up his leash.  "ma!  We're back!"  I yell.  "great sweetie." is her reply.  Wow.  I get so many thank yous around here. I head upstairs and lay down on my bed.  Bennet sure knows how to wear someone out.  My phone beeps. It's my best friend Ella. "chels, wanna sleep over?  I need you." she doesn't even need to ask. She always "needs"  me, but I got a strange feeling about this time. "mom,  can I please stay at Ella's tonight?"  I yell from my room. "Sure honey!" she replies. I rush outside and next door to Ella's.  I knock and she opens the door. She seems uneasy. "what's wrong?"  I say.  "I....... I have the flu. my mom's away, and my dad is on a business trip.  Take care of me?"  I let out a sigh of relief.  "of course!"  I say.

So, for the week,  I would get her homework from school,  and head over to her house.  Everyday for that week I carried $5.40 to get her a can of soup,  and I would bring it all to her and we would watch movies. At night she came to my house to sleep over. She kept saying how I was amazing and how much she loved me,  but I told her it was my job. After all,  she is my "sister".
