I got off the bus and headed towards the school. Today I feel a strange uneasiness throughout my body that I just can't shake. Its probably nothing. Your just being a little baby. What the hell, brain? I press the button on the door and wait for the beep.

BEEP

Ah-ha! There it is. I grab the handle firmly and give it a tug. The door opens with no problem. I walk inside. See? What did I tell you. It was nothing. Alright, alright. Fine you were right, head. I gradually head to my locker and turn the lock to the correct combination. I grab my locker handle and lift up. Huh? It didn't open. Probably just a wrong combination, idiot. I tried again, making sure every single number was correct. I lifted once more. Nope, nothing. I decided to go ask the teacher. I opened the door, and the only person I saw was my teacher. He looked up. "Oh, Chealsey. What are you doing here?" He asked confused. "Oh, Mr. Jay. I was having trouble with my locker, could you help me?" I said. He had a strange expression on his face. "Um, I guess I could, but I dont see a reason. Did you forget something?" He asked, seemingly concerned. "Um, no." I replied. "Then why shall I open it? Why are you here, anyways?" He said. "Well, I have to unpack and put my stuff in my locker, and for school." I said back, getting a little frustrated. Why was he asking these obvious questions? He obviously knew the answers. "Chealsey, did you fall outside? Did you slip on the ice? Did you hit your head, by chance. Anything?" He said concerned. He couldn't hide his expression. Infact, it was kind of worrying me. "No. Mr. Jay, what's going on?" I asked. I was nervous to hear his reply. Actually, I was flat out scared. "Chealsey, school ended 3 hours ago. Oh, dear. Your parents are probably worried sick. Some one called, but I didn't have the time to answer. Shall we call them?" He asked. "Yeah, sure." I was in shock. 3 hours ago? 3? I slipped my phone out of my pocket and called my moms number. One ring and her voice was on the line. "Chealsey, sweetie are you okay? We have been worried sick! Where are you?" She was really terrified. Wow. "Mom, I'm okay. I'm still at school. I dont know what happened, but I'm in the school perfectly fine with Mr. Jay. See?" I handed the phone to Mr. Jay. I walked over to my seat. I layed my head down. Man, was I tired. Mr. Jay gave me back my phone and said. "Your mom is coming to get you." "Thank you." I replied as I stuck my phone back in my pocket. "Dont worry your pretty little face. You'll be just fine." Mr. Jay said. My uneasiness grew. "I, um, have something to talk about with Mrs. Martha. May I go see her?" I said, standing up. Mrs. Martha was a teacher I knew I could trust. Mr. Jay put on a sad expression. "Now, now little one. Why dont you stay in here for a bit? You'll be alright" he said chuckling. I made a bolt for the door. I ran down the hallway and into Mrs. Martha's room. I locked the door and shut the lights off. I grabbed Mrs. Martha and we hid under the table. I covered her mouth and whispered. "Shh. Mr. Jays gone crazy! Your the one I knew I could trust. So please, to protect us both, please keep quiet." I slowly removed my hand as she nodded. I took out my phone and turned the brightness all the way down. I texted my mom "please dont come in here. Call 911. Mr. Jay is crazy. He's a crazed killer who wants targets like me. I'm okay. Mrs. Martha is protecting me. Please, get the police." With shaky hands I pressed send. I shut my phone off. I heard Mr. Jay laugh as he said "idiotic girl. Beautiful, indeed, but stupid. Mrs. Martha is already gone! So, there's only one place to find her. The lady's bathroom and the library!" He headed off. "There's no other teachers here, right?" I whispered softly. Mrs. Martha nodded her head. I let out a sigh of relief. That's when I heard "stop! This is the police. Drop the weapon and put your hands where I can see them!" He had a weapon? I heard hand cuffs and Mr. Jay say "stupid girl! HOW?!?!? HOW DID SHE ESCAPE ME?!?!? NO ONE ESCAPES MICHAEL EDWARD JAY!!!!!!"

I was so happy. The police returned me home safely where I saw the biggest and best surprise ever!

What a day.
