Lying beside Dean in his bed, Miracle watched attentively as Mrs. Butters conjured a blanket in her hands and spread it over him. After that, Miracle rested her head over Dean's ankles while Mrs. Butters placed a strip of wet cloth on his forehead.
– I've stopped the bleeding and mended the broken wrist, but he's absolutely drained and has an increasing fever I couldn't do anything about. - explained the wood nymph as she left the room passing by Sam, who was standing next the door with Eileen.
– Evidently, we can't leave you two alone. - declared Gabriel showing up by Dean's bedside.
– You must take better care of your brother. - accused Crowley mockingly popping out near Sam.
– Can you fix him? - pleaded Sam gazing at the archangel.
– Let me see. - replied Gabriel placing a hand above Dean's chest, soon his palm glowed for a moment and then he continued - Done. Tank refueled and temp back to normal. Yet, I still don't know what Raphael did to him or why his injuries came back.
– You should disintegrate him. - suggested Crowley calmly approaching the archangel.
– What? No way! - protested Sam.
– He'd bring him back right after. - replied the demon rolling his eyes sassily - And maybe the problem would be solved.
– There's a chance this might work. - considered Gabriel rubbing his own chin.
– No one's disintegrating my brother. - barked Sam.
– At the very least, it would be painless. - retorted Crowley - Much better than getting his bones broken and his guts torn up repeatedly.
A little later, when Claire walked in the kitchen intending to fetch some cold water, she met Eileen, Mrs. Butters, Donna and Chris seated around the table and looking wretched. The two women and the nymph were holding very lavish teacups that seemed out of place in the bunker's kitchen, while Chris had a beer in his hand.
– What's wrong? - the girl asked, alarmed by their gloomy expressions.
– Oh, dear. - sighed Donna putting down her steamy teacup - Dean's wounds came back.
– I did what I could and the archangel mended the rest, but they'll probably return again. - explained Mrs. Butters.
– How is it possible? - wondered Claire leaving the jar of water she had just got from the refrigerator over the counter.
– No one knows. - replied Eileen - Sam is terrified of leaving him alone and also of letting Gabriel out of his sight.
– I guess the girls in the shooting range will remain thirsty a little longer. - Claire declared giving up her quest for glasses.
– I'll take it to them. - declared Mrs. Butters and before the girl could say she didn't need to bother, the jar was on a tray with four glasses and shortly it vanished as well as the nymph, then a split second later Mrs. Butters was back in her chair and informed plainly - All done.
