Author's Note-

Hey guys, my mom let me go on Wattpad, so yipee! If you want to know the details, there's a message I sent to all fans, and it's also on my profile page. I got grounded because I had been slacking off of my U.S. History homework, and the result was a poor grade in that class. So lesson learned, don't slack off on HW. But on the happy note, I can say that 12/21/12 is a MYTH, and we're all still alive. Also, Merry Christmas if I don't update on Christmas.

Chapter 3

(April's P.O.V.)

(Royal Albert Hall Date w/ Mally)

For the first time in three years, I was going on a date. An actual date. Of course, I was completely excited and nervous at the same time. Not a good combination for me though. The adrenaline mixed with the butterflies in my stomach makes me lightheaded, and sometimes queasy.  But it was a good sign for me, because it meant I was happy. I haven't been truly happy in three years, since Harry ruined it for me, and later, my late father's death took it's toll on me.

Two days ago, Chase and I had gone out to find a dress for the event, and she wanted to grab some nice makeup for me. Personally, I didn't like makeup, I always thought it felt too cakey and most of the time, I looked like shit in makeup. But Chase was good at applying the crap, so for once, I'm letting her make me look pretty tonight.

My father would have never approved of this dress. It was strapless, it showed off the majority of my bare back, and it was black. The dress flowed down past my ankles, with a slit on the side for my left leg. When Chase pulled it out, for once, I felt intimidated. But once I tried it on, it gave me a new confidence, and I felt sexy. A rare feeling for me.

Right now,  I was sitting on a stool, in a thin light purple dressing gown, in my bedroom while Chase prepped my hair and face.

"So you're gonna make me look pretty?" I asked Chase, quoting Katniss Everdeen. I swear, The Hunger Games trilogy is made for me. I love Catching Fire the most out of the three.

"I'm here to make a impression," Chase lightly chuckled from behind, quoting Cinna. I grinned as she knew where I got the quote from. She didn't read the Hunger Games, but she saw the movie briefly.

(Three Hours Later)

"Oh my god Chase!" I exclaimed, in both horror and delight.

The girl in the mirror was no longer a girl. She was a woman. Her pale skin glowed, and stood out attractively, contrasting with her black gown. She was slim, with a tiny waist and slightly shorter than average legs. She had a long torso, that had gotten lost in the river of black silk. She was fit, very, very, fit. The muscles in her back, were similar to a feline's stealthy crawl

She was stunningly attractive. There was a natural fierceness about her attractive face, one that told one not to mess about with her. Her catlike grey eyes sparkled happily, an odd comparison to her fierce stare, yet it fit so right. Her lips, thin on the top, and full on the bottom, were stained a bright blood red, which stood out against her white skin and black dress. Her dark hair was piled to the side, a few strands of hair purposefully loose, wavy and messy, like her side swept bangs. Her eyes were dark and smoky, adding a sexy contrast to her black gown.
