A/N-

Can I say how incredibly annoying the last week of semester is? Yes? IT'S FUCKING ANNOYING. Now for the rest of the school year, I have to endure block scheduling. Yay not. Ugh, now my head is hurting just from thinking about school.

On the side, I posted a picture of what April looks like. In this chapter, instead of the tough, fierce April, you get the soft, silly, nice April. Enjoy while this side lasts, because next chapter, shit's gonna get real again.

I seriously love this chapter because of Adele. Adele is like a goddess with music, I swear I can't get enough of her. I just hope that Simon doesn't break her heart, because if he does, there will be one very loyal fan hot on his heels.

Chapter 7

(April's P.O.V.)

I stood there in the pouring rain, soaked than ever. I really had no clue where to go now. I didn't want to go home yet, and there was no way in hell that I was going to go back to Liam's. I decided to sit on the curb, and ponder. Stupid idea as it seems, because I'm just going to get even more soaked now.

A car passed by, and I thought I saw Niall in the car. What was he doing out at this time? What was I doing out at this time? I sighed as my wet hair plopped into my face. I wish I had my earbuds with me, I could listen to some Adele. Listening to her always helped me think. Wait, didn't she give me her number?

I pulled out my phone, and I started scrolling through my contacts and found my favorite singer's number. I paused for a moment before hitting the green button, wether it would be the best idea to call her. Daring to, my thumb skimmed lightly over the touchscreen and hit the green call button. I brought the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" Her rich accent filled my ears.

"Hi Adele, it's April. Remember me from the Hall? My friend's your husband's first cousin?" I breathed onto the phone.

"Hey love! How are you? Are you outside? I think I can hear the rain." She asked brightly.

"Yea, I am. I kind of have no place to go, and I haven't got a car like most people. I prefer to travel by foot." I laughed nervously.

"I can pick you up! Find a place that's dry, I'll come and get ya," She eagerly offered, as I sighed and gave in. I told her the location and I found a spot under a sign. About ten minutes later, a car pulls up in front of me and the window pulls down. "Come in! What are ya waiting for?!" She yelled through the sound of the rain splattering. In a blur, I climbed into the warm dry interior.

Ten minutes later, we pull up in front of I guessed was her home. She quickly ran inside, with me on her heels.  I was dripping all over the place, onto her lovely hardwood floors. Her husband appeared by my side with a towel, and a warm smile.
