The 'child' [1/2]

Cloud and Sephiroth managed to find a different way to train M/n's power and so far so good. M/n was an exceptional healer and archer, hell the best Cloud has ever encountered in his years of mercenary work.
Currently, the gang was head back from bounty and M/n was still very much full of energy!
"That was so fun! I can't wait till the next bounty!"

"Neither can I! Who knew having someone with divine power would make things so much easier when hunting down certain monsters?"M/n has never felt so happy in his life, he was surrounded by people who cared about him even more, and especially having Cloud at his side, there was nothing that he couldn't do.
"Hey look over there."Kadaj said pointing across the way, when everyone looked over there stood a child that no one has seen before. Aerith and M/n were the first to head over to said child to see if there was anything they could do to help him.
"Hello little one, do you need-"

When M/n got a better look at the boy, he felt a sense of familiarity from the boy that hit close to home.
"M/n?"

"Uhh sorry, I feel like I know him all of a sudden."M/n said in a whisper to Aerith then he turns back to the child only to see him looking back.
"My name is M/n, and you are?"

"Velze."

"Are you perhaps lost? We can help you find your way home or to your mother. Where did you last see her?" 'Velze' didn't like the tone of voice, he felt as if he was being talked down to but he had to remember the form he harbors. So he had to bite back the feeling of being insulted, 'Velze' shook his head, confusing M/n.
"I don't have a family...well not that I know of."

"So your home...is it possible that you live at the orphanage?"M/n asked as he kneels to eye level, Cloud and Sephiroth soon head over to the two but only Cloud felt a ping in his chest while looking at the child, he suddenly felt very nervous about the strange child.
"M/n what's his name?"

"Velze, he doesn't seem to have a family- Oh! Would you like to eat at this cake shop before we take you home?"M/n asked sweetly as he held out his hand to the child in front of him.
At first, Cloud was hesitant in allowing M/n to engage with the child but he kept his guard up and kept his worries to himself for the time being. 'Velze' nods as he grabs M/n's slender hands.

The group all walk into the cafe and sat down at the table, of course, 'Velze' sat directly next to M/n.
"Better watch out Cloud, looks like the little kid will steal M/n away from you~"Sephiroth said in a joking tone of voice as he watched M/n and Aerith gush over the 'young' male. Hell, even Sephiroth admits that he thought the kid was quite cute, a bit on the grumpy side but cute. However, Cloud was the only one who was thrown off by the child. He felt a very familiar aura radiating off the kid.
"Here you lot go! I brought over the cafe special; Chocolate moose with strawberries! Enjoy~"

"Thank you, Miss!"Everyone chimes out happily, well almost everyone, Velze only looked on in confusion, the large stomach of the women was what confused him.
"Velze?"

"What's wrong with her stomach?"

"Oh, she's going to have a baby soon, have you never seen a pregnant woman before?"M/n asked while gently ruffling Velze's hair, the 'child' could only recall seeing it once but he didn't understand until now. So velze nods lightly and remarks that it was once before this day and left it at that.
"We should get you home...But it's a bit late, how about you sleep at the Honey bee inn tonight?"

"Are you sure it's okay to have a child there?"

"As long as he doesn't wander around off to the far back it should be okay."
