Cigarettes after...?

Smoke drowned in M/n room, he was stressed and refused to see anyone, not even Cloud. M/n lost the will to leave his room and every one of the inn became worried, they would leave food by his door to make sure he ate, talk through the door just to let him know they were there for him, and voice their concerns about his well being. However, they would barely get a response, though M/n did eat the food which eased a bit of worry.
"How do we get him out of that room?"

"No idea, we tried everything! Is there something we're missing?"

"Okay let's try plan B aka move from the door when I say this next sentence!"Andrea said while shooing the others from near the door.
Andrea took a deep breath then urgently knocks on the door startling both sides.
"M/N CLOUD HAS BEEN HURT!"It was all but two seconds and the sound of panicked footsteps rushed to the door from the inside. The door is immediately yanked opened displaying a messy-haired, robe-wearing, cigarette holding M/n!
"What happened?!"

"Sorry to trick you but come with me now!"Andrea hoist M/n over his shoulder and takes him to his room for a one on one talk.
When the two entered the older male room, he sits M/n on the bed.
"Now let's talk. You've been cooped up in that room of yours for two weeks! Cloud is worried about you. He told me you won't even answer his phone calls and I heard you picked up your old habit! You were going on for five years! I don't know who's dumber! You or Cloud."

"Why would Cloud be dumb?"

"Because he likes you and instead of doing what I told him, you ended up like this!"M/n sat there quietly as Andrea rambles on and on about the plan he and Cloud came up with for the blonde mercenary to confess his feeling for the queen bee but everything went left field.
"He...He likes me?"

"Yes...It was supposed to be his job to tell you but the whole plan fell apart when the party happened. You should probably call him and please throw away the rest of the cigarettes you have."

"I...Okay."M/n leaves Andrea's room and strikes out into a full-blown sprint back to his room so that he could get to his phone immediately. Just when he grabbed his phone, Cloud had called. The phone rings, casing slight hesitation to answer but M/n answers.
"M/n?! Hey, are you there?"

"...Yeah.."

"That's good, you had me worried to death! Why haven't you answered my call or came to see me! Not to mention when I visited the inn you wouldn't come out of your room to speak with me-"

"Cloud do you like me?"M/n suddenly asked without so much as a second thought, this surprised Cloud on the other side of the phone. He was stunned into silence from
M/n's question alone. Cloud knew that he couldn't lie to other male.
"Yeah. I do like you... I just...I was just afraid of being rejected by you. It stopped me from confessing. You don't seem like the person who wants to be tied down by a relationship.."

"... Could you come to the inn? I want to speak with you in person.."

"Yeah, I'm actually at the entrance of the inn now. I'll meet you in your room."M/n opened his window, turned the lights on then sighed heavily. He didn't have time to make himself look decent since he looked like a literal train wreck. The door suddenly opens and surprise, Cloud looked a mess himself but M/n found it cute, like a messy boy kind of cute.
"You look tired."

"Any other time I would tell you off but you're right, I am tired...So why didn't you tell me?"Cloud tells M/n why it took him so long to even confess and when the explanation was over, M/n laughed.
"Cloud! You're not a client to me! I meant that towards clients who want to be in a relationship with me. You became my friend the third day we spoke in the Vip section. Before I realized it, I was...I was starting to gain feelings for you, I got jealous of myself without knowing. Because this whole time the guy you fell for was me."

"Yeah, I hope I didn't make you feel silly."

"I do! You spoke so highly about me when I asked and I thought; 'who is this guy! Will he take Cloud away from me?! Would we be able to be friends when they get together?'.
It made me worried however now that I know it's me..."Cloud shyly grabs M/n's hand while leaning in and connecting their foreheads.
"M/n, could I ask two questions?"

"You just asked one but proceed."

"Will you be my partner and can I kiss you?"

"Yes, to both you silly mercenary!"M/n pushed himself onto the tips of his toes, wrapped his arms around Cloud's neck, and pulled him down into a kiss.
