Donghyuck sat alone in his room, he heard the doorknob made a small noise, then the door swung open. Donghyuck sat up; on his bed, seeing Mark crawling to him, burying his head into Donghyuck's chest.
"What's wrong?" Donghyuck questioned, wrapping his arms around Mark. He felt a sense of just wanting to baby Mark.
"Nothing, I just had a bad day, and I don't feel like studying," Mark muttered, putting his arms around Donghyuck's waist. Donghyuck smiled, he felt like he was finally making progress with Mark.
"I also have a trip with college friends, are you okay being alone here for a few days?" Mark asked, his voice sounded a bit muffled from Donghyuck's chest. Donghyuck hummed, nodding his head; he didn't mind, but he will miss his soulmate.

After the semester was over, Mark's things were packed and Mark left with his friends. It was a bit cold, but he wandered into Mark's room, admiring the things that were put and left there. It was a weird thing to do, but it's only been 5 hours and he's missed him.
Donghyuck went into Mark's closet to hug on Mark's clothes, inhaling Mark's scent, he smelled like some nice cologne. ( I saw a TikTok about how this girl, 'He left this morning & I can still smell his colon on my pillowcase' and holy fuck, doctors and professionals deutted, and that was the funniest shit ever cuz colon is like the small intestines and shit inside of the body)
Now, Donghyuck really missed him, he wanted to be buried in Mark's arms, or just be touched by Mark. They are and still soulmates, but now he wasn't sure if Mark wanted to be with him. But, thinking about it, they had done things that normal couples would have, and he was thinking of how he is probably making progress, just slowly.
