Donghyuck found out that he was the government assigned to his Soulmate, who was Mark Lee. Someone who constantly bullied him throughout his high school year and it wasn't the worst decision... Surprisingly.

Donghyuck woke up; beginning his day with being lazy. It was over the summer break, and he's been like that. (Time Skip) He's nearing his first day of school; and near his soulmate's birthday.
"What should I get him? I don't know what he likes, but I know a decent amount of knowledge," Donghyuck said.
"Hyung, what do you want for your birthday?" Donghyuck walked up and asked the older. Mark replied, "Don't bother with it. I don't need anything from you." Donghyuck walked away, back into his room. He went on his laptop, sitting in his chair, going through what Mark may like.
"Maybe this one..." Donghyuck said, looking at the expensive watches.
Donghyuck scrolled through all day; just taking breaks for needs and making food for them. The younger smiled and ordered it. He got the perfect one.

It arrived a day early. Mark was also sort of hosting a party with his friends and other people for his birthday. Mark also didn't want Donghyuck to show up in it and did not want the boy to participate in it.
It was understandable, but sort of unfair. But whatever.

Donghyuck sat in his room as the party went on; Donghyuck had food beforehand because Mark let him. Donghyuck huffed, he wanted to give it to him, but whatever. He can give it the next day.
The party took almost forever. But, everyone was out as Mark and Donghyuck cleaned up the house, and taking out the trash.
"Hey, Mark, here, for your birthday," Donghyuck handing Mark a small box.
"I told you not to get me anything," Mark said, sighing. Donghyuck puffed up his cheeks, sighing. Mark felt bad, so he accepted it.
