"So, why did you lie to my mom?" Donghyuck asked.
"I didn't have to heart to tell her. Besides, this had all been planned since the beginning of the school year," Mark sighed.
Now, it all made sense. Everything fitted in.
"I'm trying to find a new soulmate, so I could care less. You do what you want here, I don't care," Mark said, he walked off to Mark's room. Donghyuk's mind slowly processed properly, then he realized many things.
Donghyuck went up to him and slapping him right across the face.
"I've been wanting to find and love my soulmate since I was born, and this is what I get? Dude, you are literally the closest match to me," Donghyuck complained, shedding a few tears or two. Mark didn't say a single word.
"I never wanted a soulmate anyway... You should've just given up," Mark said, leaving Donghyuck alone.

In the next room, Mark was making phone calls, to see if he could continue the process. But, he didn't have a good reason, which was holding him back.
Should... I just try to love him? Like I had planned to? Donghyuck thought.
Maybe he should just get his soulmate to like him instead.
