"Say hi, sweetie. This is Daniel" Toni's mother said, talking to the 4-year-old Toni as she hid behind her mother. "Hi, Toni!! I'm Daniel!" the 6-year-old boy introduced himself as he waved enthusiastically.

Both of their parents had smiled plastered on their faces as they've witnessed both of their children interacting with each other.

Toni and Daniel instantly got close to each other and ever since that day, they were inseparable.

Since their parents were co-workers, being together wasn't a problem for them.

Whenever their parents had work to do, both of them would go to either one of their houses and stay there to play all day.

Their bond was very strong. They were very attached.

Daniel treated Toni as if she's his own little sister and Toni felt as if she had a big brother even though she was the eldest in her family.

They had each others' backs no matter what.

They unconditionally supported each other and were there for one another.

They grew up together, not letting anyone or anything break them apart.

They loved each other.

"Toni!! I need your help!!!" Daniel yelled as he barged into Toni's house and room.

This happens often but, Toni still couldn't get used to it making her jump in shock by Daniel suddenly barging into her room. "Don't you know how to knock?" she asked Daniel who sat down on her bed. "I already said hi to auntie and uncle, and gave a small gift for your brother so don't be mad" Daniel stated and laid down.

Toni faced him. "How about mine?" she asked, pouting. "Promise me you'll help me first then I'll give you your gift," Daniel said and sat up, holding out his pinky.

Toni sat there for a while, thinking. She then shrugged and agreed, making a pinky promise with Daniel. "So, there's this girl-". "I knew it." Toni cut Daniel off when he began to speak, rolling her eyes making Daniel just smile sheepishly. Toni just sighed and began to listen and give advice to Daniel.

"I don't think it worked," Daniel sighed as sat down on Toni's bed.

"What?! I doubt that. That works on every single girl out there," Toni exclaimed as sat properly beside Daniel and tried to comfort him. "Just be patient, we don't know what tomorrow may bring you" she continued.

"Yo! Toni! Toni!" Daniel continuously called, annoying Toni who was busy watching Netflix. "What do you want?! Can't you see I'm watching?!" Toni asked as she aggressively paused what she was watching before glaring at Daniel who looked at her with a broad smile.

"She accepted my confession!!" Daniel excitedly exclaimed as he hugged Toni tightly. "I owe you big time! Thanks, lil sis!" Daniel added and hugged her even tighter. "C-can't breathe! You're cr-crushing m-me!!" Toni tried to say as she tapped on Daniel's arm.

After letting go, Daniel ruffled Toni's hair. Toni smiled proudly and stared at Daniel, seeing him so happy,

As days passed by, Toni was happy just by seeing her so-called 'big brother' happy.

Although she noticed that they weren't able to talk or even hang out together, she understood it, as long as Daniel was happy.
